Turkish-Italian producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Carlita has released her sophomore album, Telepathy, out now via Ninja Tune. Featuring collaborations with Justine Skye and SOFI TUKKER, the record expands her club-driven sound through pop songwriting, personal storytelling, and a diverse lineup of collaborators.
For Carlita, Telepathy explores a form of connection that exists beyond words. She describes the concept as “thinking about somebody or something with no attempt at possessing that thing, only for it to come into your life anyway.” The album examines unspoken communication and the invisible connections between people, their pasts, lovers, and the world around them.
Feminine, driving, and groovy, Telepathy carries a subtle dance-pop sensibility throughout its tracks. Carlita approaches the album as something that can move a dancefloor while remaining emotionally resonant long after the music ends. Her records, she suggests, function much like perfume, returning unexpectedly through memories and associations with people or places.
The result sits somewhere between a pop record and the experience of dancing through a smoky basement club, embracing both sides without compromising either. Alongside SOFI TUKKER and Justine Skye, the album features contributions from Malive, Stevie Appleton, Paige Cavell, and Cleo Simone, adding further dimensions to its collaborative sound.
The visual identity surrounding Telepathy was developed with creative director Pedro Damasceno, known online as @pedrose, while photographer Rafael Pavarotti captured the album cover and accompanying imagery. Pavarotti’s recent work includes projects with Charli xcx, Madonna, Tyla, and Addison Rae.
Balancing intimacy with editorial sophistication, the imagery draws on magical realism and the invisible connections that exist between the spaces we understand. It also continues Carlita’s longstanding relationship with fashion and visual storytelling, extending the creative universe established by her previous album, Sentimental, whose cover was photographed by Louis Browne.
Fashion and art have remained important elements of Carlita’s broader creative identity. She has performed for YSL Beauty, collaborated with Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and FENDI, and appeared in Vogue Italia, GQ Italia, and L’Officiel. Her Senza Fine event series has further brought music, fashion, and art together through immersive experiences staged around New York Fashion Week.

The album arrives following Carlita’s busiest touring year to date, with 2026 appearances at Coachella, Sónar, Outside Lands, Tomorrowland, Distortion Copenhagen, DC10 Ibiza, Surf Lodge, and Circoloco. Her upcoming schedule includes ARC Music Festival in Chicago, CRSSD in San Diego, Depot Mayfield in Manchester, and EDC Colombia in Medellín, alongside headline performances across Europe, North America, and Latin America.
With Telepathy, Carlita continues to explore the space where club music, pop songwriting, fashion, and personal expression intersect. The album offers a deeper look into her evolving creative world, bringing together dancefloor energy and emotional connection in a project designed to resonate beyond the moment.
