Turkish-Italian producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Carlita is entering a new phase of her career with the announcement of her sophomore album, Telepathy, arriving November 6 via Ninja Tune. The news comes alongside “One More Dance,” a new collaboration with Stevie Appleton, the latest preview of an album that pushes Carlita’s club-rooted sound further into songwriting, dance-pop, and collaborative territory.

Where Carlita’s earlier work has often been defined by the energy of the dancefloor, Telepathy looks beyond the immediate moment. The album explores the unspoken connections between people, memories, lovers, and the world around them, built around the idea of communication that exists without ever needing to be spoken.

As Carlita explains, Telepathy is about “thinking about somebody or something with no attempt at possessing that thing, only for it to come into your life anyway.”

That concept gives the album an emotional thread that runs beneath its club foundations. Telepathy is feminine, driving, and groovy, with subtle dance-pop sensibilities woven throughout. Rather than abandoning the late-night energy that established Carlita as a force in electronic music, the album expands it into something more intimate and melodic.

Her music has a way of lingering after the night ends, and Telepathy appears designed around that same idea. The record exists somewhere between a polished pop album and the hazy memory of dancing in a basement at 3 a.m., allowing Carlita to explore both worlds without sacrificing either.

The album features an ambitious cast of collaborators, including SOFI TUKKER, Justine Skye, Malive, Stevie Appleton, Paige Cavell, and Cleo Simone.

The album campaign has also been developed as an extension of Carlita’s musical identity. Creative director Pedro Damasceno helped shape the world surrounding Telepathy, while photographer Rafael Pavarotti—whose recent work includes projects with Charli xcx, Madonna, Tyla, and Addison Rae—shot the cover and album photography.

The resulting imagery occupies a space between intimacy and high-fashion editorialism, with the cover embracing elements of magical realism to reflect the album’s fascination with invisible connections. It also continues Carlita’s long-running relationship with fashion and visual culture, following the aesthetic established around her previous album, Sentimental, whose cover was photographed by Louis Browne.

That connection between music, fashion, and art has become an increasingly important part of Carlita’s world. She has performed for YSL Beauty and collaborated with Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and FENDI, while appearing in Vogue Italia, GQ Italia, and L’Officiel. Her Senza Fine event series has further blurred the boundaries between electronic music and fashion through immersive events staged around New York Fashion Week.

Musically, the first signs of Telepathy have already made an impact. “Patchwork,” her collaboration with Paige Cavell, earned Carlita her first BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record, while “Manhattan,” created with SOFI TUKKER, became her first BBC Radio 1 B List record.

Together, the singles point toward Carlita’s expanding pop sensibilities while retaining the rhythmic foundation that has powered her rise through the electronic music scene.

Her 2026 schedule reflects that momentum. Carlita has already delivered performances at major events including Coachella, Sónar, Outside Lands, Tomorrowland, Distortion Copenhagen, DC10 Ibiza, Surf Lodge, and Circoloco.

Her touring continues with upcoming appearances at ARC Music Festival in Chicago, CRSSD in San Diego, Depot Mayfield in Manchester, and EDC Colombia in Medellín, alongside headline performances across Europe, North America, and Latin America.

At the center of the new album is “One More Dance,” her latest collaboration with Stevie Appleton. Known for his distinctive vocal tone and melodic songwriting, Appleton has worked with major names including deadmau5, Tiësto, John Summit, The Martinez Brothers, and BLOND:ISH, making him a natural fit for Carlita’s increasingly song-driven direction.

With Telepathy, Carlita is building on the club instincts that first defined her while opening the door to something broader—an album where dance music, pop songwriting, fashion, and personal memory exist within the same creative universe.

Telepathy arrives November 6 via Ninja Tune, while “One More Dance” with Stevie Appleton is out now.
