Following the release of their acclaimed third studio album WITHNESS, Amsterdam duo ANOTR have unveiled the official music video for “Like It” featuring 3DDY, bringing the track’s playful, euphoric energy to life through a surreal visual journey directed by filmmaker and photographer Alice Kong and produced by Partizan.
Set against a wildly colorful world where reality gradually gives way to absurdity, the “Like It” video draws inspiration from the psychedelic atmosphere of Burning Man. Racing drivers, flamingos, eccentric characters, and increasingly bizarre scenes populate the frame, creating the sensation of watching a dream unfold in real time.
The idea originated from an experience Jesse had while attending Burning Man. After performing on the Playa, he ended up sitting at a party and taking in the surreal environment around him. What initially appeared to be a relatively ordinary moment slowly descended into something far stranger as new characters emerged and friends repeatedly encouraged him to get up and dance.
“We loved that whole idea and feeling, and that basically became the inspiration for the video,” explain ANOTR.
That loose, spontaneous concept found a natural creative partner in Alice Kong, whose filmmaking frequently sits at the intersection of vibrant color, humor, nostalgia, and surrealism. Her work often transforms familiar environments into meticulously constructed worlds where the line between reality and fantasy becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish.
Kong has previously created campaigns for Longchamp, Gucci, and The Met, while her music-video credits include work for Vendredi Sur Mer, Bon Entendeur, Darius, and Ichon. Her colorful and eccentric visual approach makes her a fitting collaborator for ANOTR, whose music similarly finds energy in unexpected combinations of groove, texture, and atmosphere.
The collaboration took the duo to Lithuania, where they joined Kong and the production team for the shoot. Rather than taking a hands-off approach, ANOTR became directly involved in the creative process.
“We flew out to Lithuania to meet up with the film crew and it was a really nice experience from the start,” the duo says. “It felt like a real collaboration, rather than just showing up and shooting a video.”
“Alice Kong is really talented and had a clear vision for the whole thing, while still giving us space to bring our own ideas into it. We’re really happy with how it all came together and with the final result.”
“Like It” first arrived in May as part of the rollout for WITHNESS, the third studio album from ANOTR, released through the duo’s own No Art imprint. Featuring Dutch producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist 3DDY, the soulful, sample-driven track captures the album’s renewed emphasis on the dancefloor while maintaining the warmth and musicality that have become central to the duo’s sound.
At its core, WITHNESS is a record about togetherness. That idea has taken on even greater significance during one of the biggest stretches of ANOTR’s career, following the global success of “Talk To You” featuring 54 Ultra. The track has now surpassed 200 million streams, reached No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, climbed to No. 7 on the global Shazam chart, and topped Beatport’s Top 100. It has also generated more than 600 million user-generated-content views, while Spotify selected it for its global Sound Of The Summer 2026 list.
The “Like It” video taps into that same sense of collective escape, but approaches it from a more unexpected angle. Instead of simply recreating the energy of a festival or club, ANOTR and Kong turn the experience into something stranger: a colorful, unpredictable universe where the viewer is encouraged to stop trying to make sense of everything and simply watch it unfold.
With “Like It” featuring 3DDY, the duo prove once again that the dancefloor can be just as compelling when viewed from the sidelines. Sometimes, you don’t need to get up and dance. You can just sit back and see what happens when the world around you gets weird.
