Paul van Dyk is back with his newest single ‘Music Rescues Me’. Hearing this song live for the first time was absolutely breathtaking, and quite the emotional moment for me. One of the most dedicated DJ’s and Producers in the game, Paul Van Dyk regained the ability to walk, talk, and even write music after his serious accident at ASOT 750. I well up with tears every time he plays it. This is the first song to be released from his ninth studio album, which has the same name. Not only one, but two of Paul’s past collaborators were brought back together for this track. Plumb, a familiar voice, is featured on this track. Their history together goes back, three whole PvD albums, ‘EVOLUTION’ and 2012’s ‘I Don’t Deserve You’. As fans couldn’t get enough of them together, they stayed in contact and waited for the next opportunity to collaborate. Thanks to Johnny McDaid, Snow Patrol member and long-time personal friend of Paul’s, the perfect project was presented.
