For me, music is not just a hobby or a career but a way of life. Music serves as my conduit to forge connections with kindred spirits, weaving a tapestry of shared emotions and experiences that transcend language barriers. Whether immersed in the pulsating energy of a live performance or lost in the ethereal melodies of a cherished album, music remains my unwavering ally through life’s highs and lows. My journey with Fresh Music Freaks (FMF) commenced four years ago, igniting a passion for capturing the ethereal magic of musical moments through photography. As fate would have it, I now stand as the torchbearer of FMF’s vision, entrusted with nurturing its legacy and amplifying the voices of burgeoning talents. I staunchly uphold the belief that every artist, regardless of size, deserves equitable recognition.

Tanya Valencia – Chief Creative Officer
Hi, I’m Tanya. My journey has taken me from a life of strict rules and conformity to a world where the dance floor became my sanctuary, offering a sense of freedom and self-expression I never thought possible. I was diagnosed as autistic later in life and have lived with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that impacts my mobility. Despite these challenges, or perhaps because of them, I’ve found a home in the EDM community.
I first stumbled onto the dance floor at age 19, a time when I felt lost after walking away from organized religion. My life had been shaped by external expectations, dictating everything from my wardrobe to my thoughts. With its vibrant energy and acceptance, the dance floor was a transformative space where I could shed those constraints and find my own rhythm. Here, I truly discovered my identity, not defined by my limitations but by my passions and connections with others.
As a disabled raver, I’ve faced unique challenges at festivals and events. Using a mobility aid has opened my eyes to the need for greater accessibility and inclusion. I’m passionate about ensuring that everyone, regardless of physical ability, can enjoy the same sense of freedom that the dance floor offers. While disabled ravers may be a small minority in the EDM community, our voices are just as important, and I believe that equitable access to these spaces is not just a goal—it’s a necessity.
Today, at 31, I’m a wife, a mom, and the Chief Creative Officer of Fresh Music Freaks. My mission is to bring diverse, inclusive content to our readers and promote a community that welcomes everyone. The dance floor is still my refuge, and I work hard to make sure it’s a place where everyone can feel at home.

Alex (Daniel) TerraNova – Founder
FMF originated from the creative mind of Alex (Daniel) TerraNova. His vision of a media outlet run by members of the community for the community has allowed FMF to grow to what it is today. As a long-time member of the EDM Community, Alex put his passion and ideas into motion in 2015. Alex led a team of creative individuals, including writers and photographers, through many years of onsite coverage at small and large events. A devoted father and creative individual himself, Alex has been forging a new path to complement his new faith-driven journey. Though Alex is no longer a lead partner in FMF, his legacy lives on in the intentional support of up-and-coming creators, the atypical artist, and his organic support. Everyone at FMF wishes Alex great success in his current and future endeavors.
