London-based, Australian-born DJ, producer, songwriter, and vocalist HAAi will celebrate the release of her forthcoming album DIGITiSE with one of her signature marathon DJ sets, taking over Refuge in New York City on October 18 for 10 hours behind the decks, running from 4 PM until 2 AM the following morning.

The newly announced New York date caps a packed U.S. weekend for HAAi, who heads to Miami on October 17 for iii Points before continuing to the festival’s official Satellite afterparty at The Ground at Club Space alongside Jacques Greene and DJ Fuckoff. She will then travel north for her extended Refuge performance, with details of a special San Francisco appearance set to be announced soon.

More than a traditional album release party, the marathon set reflects the creative DNA of DIGITiSE. The album was shaped by HAAi’s evolution behind the decks and road-tested through hundreds of hours of DJ performances, capturing the genre-fluidity, unpredictability, and emotional progression that have become hallmarks of her sets.

“I’m so excited to return to North America this October for a run of super fun dates. I’m preparing for my 10-hour set at Refuge in support of my new album DIGITiSE. Following my last NYC set at Public Records, which was eight hours, I decided to switch into another gear and give myself an extra two hours to really explore my collection. Playing long sets is how I came up as a DJ, so 10 hours really feels like my comfort zone. I can’t wait to get stuck in,” says HAAi.

DIGITiSE follows HAAi’s acclaimed 2025 album HUMANiSE, a pivotal release that saw her move further beyond the traditional DJ role and embrace her identity as a singer and songwriter. The record placed her own voice and vulnerability at the center of the music, with HAAi previously telling Beatportal, “using my own voice felt like the most human thing I could do for the story of the album.”

With DIGITiSE, she brings that emotional perspective back to the dancefloor. Described as the “bigger, ravey sibling” to HUMANiSE, the album was written between marathon DJ performances and developed through countless hours spent on dancefloors around the world.

Her latest single, “Ignition,” featuring Echonomist, brings that personal history into the club. The track reflects on HAAi’s coming-of-age as a queer kid growing up in a small town, capturing the desire to escape and the eventual discovery of freedom, identity, and community through dance music.

That sense of community is central to both HUMANiSE and DIGITiSE. For HAAi, the dancefloor represents an increasingly important space where people from different identities and backgrounds can come together in person, find connection, and experience a sense of freedom and belonging.

As a queer artist, she has consistently advocated for inclusive environments and diverse dancefloors. DIGITiSE expands that philosophy through its collaborators, visual world, and emphasis on the shared experience created by music. Speaking to DJ Mag, HAAi described the dancefloor as “a space of belonging and connection,” while telling Luna Collective that queer representation “encourages safer dance floors and for people to feel seen and comfortable.”

That ethos makes a 10-hour set at Refuge a fitting way to celebrate DIGITiSE. The extended format gives HAAi the freedom to move between genres, tempos, moods, and textures while gradually shaping the room over an entire night. It is the same sense of discovery and collective energy that runs through the album itself.

HAAi heads into the October dates following a busy summer across Europe, including appearances at World Pride Amsterdam, Sziget, and Maiden Voyage in London, where she opened the vault for her first-ever 100% HAAi production set. Her summer schedule also included Ibiza performances and B2B sets with DJ Tennis, DJ Seinfeld, and Sally C.

The DIGITiSE campaign has already begun with the album’s title track and “Ignition” featuring Echonomist. Next comes “I Wanna Feel Like Someone,” featuring James Massiah, arriving September 1 and shifting the focus firmly toward the peak-time dancefloor moments that helped shape the album.

“‘I Wanna Feel Like Someone’ nods to those peak-time moments on the dancefloor. It pushes the elements I love most in dance music — bass and frequency — and ties them together with Motorik rhythms,” says HAAi.

With DIGITiSE, HAAi is bringing together the two sides of her artistic identity: the deeply personal songwriter and the instinctive, boundary-pushing DJ. Her 10-hour Refuge performance promises to take that idea one step further, turning the album celebration into an extended journey through the sounds, emotions, and communal energy that inspired it.
