Six parties. Four days. No way out. Refuge NYC is turning Halloween into an extended dancefloor marathon with PURGATORY, a four-day event running from October 29 through November 1. The Brooklyn venue will welcome Salute, Stacey Pullen, Jayda G, Soul Clap, DJ E-Cology, Victor Calderone, Nicole Moudaber, Mira and more across six distinct parties.
Following its first anniversary celebration, which took place in the middle of a Nor’easter storm, the 500-capacity Refuge NYC will once again take over its East Williamsburg home with a program spanning house, techno, UK garage and beyond. The extended Halloween gathering will move between daytime, nighttime and sunrise sessions across the venue’s main room and courtyard.
True to the venue’s original philosophy, PURGATORY will remain focused on the dancefloor rather than traditional nightlife extras. Refuge NYC will have no VIP sections or bottle service, instead putting the emphasis on sound, long-form DJ sets and a shared dancefloor experience.
The marathon will be driven by Refuge’s custom four-point REX analogue sound system, which was co-engineered with Al Fierstein.
The first night on Thursday, October 29, brings together UK garage and house artist Salute with Detroit techno icon Stacey Pullen for a high-energy B2B set. The pairing will open the four-day event with a meeting of two distinct sounds while setting the pace for the marathon ahead.
Friday night, October 30, shifts toward soulful and euphoric house and disco as Jayda G joins Suze Ijó. The night will also feature Soul Clap alongside DJ E-Cology in a particularly significant performance for the Soul Clap legacy.
The appearance follows Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine’s recent announcement that they are ending their 25-year run as a duo. While Levine will continue the Soul Clap name, Goldstein will move forward under his solo moniker. Their performance at PURGATORY will mark the final time they perform together.

Halloween itself brings a packed Saturday schedule beginning during the day, with Refuge NYC resident Victor Calderone teaming up with Anthony Middleton of Audiofly. The daytime session will lead into the evening, when techno artist Nicole Moudaber takes over for the nighttime program.
The marathon will then continue into the early hours of Sunday as Berlin-based artist Mira takes control of the dancefloor for the sunrise session. Her set will carry the event into its final stretch before Serge Devant and Vanjee close out the four-day gathering with deep grooves during the daytime session.
Across six parties and four days, PURGATORY brings together established names, underground sounds and extended sets while maintaining the stripped-back philosophy that has defined Refuge NYC since its launch. Rather than dividing the experience between VIP areas and general admission, the venue is once again putting the focus where it belongs: the music and the people on the dancefloor.
