Vancouver electronic pop artist, producer, and songwriter Perfect Person (aka Noah Williamson) has released his new collaborative EP, Some Kind Of Life, alongside Holostar. Independently released, the five-track project expands Williamson’s growing catalog of emotionally driven electronic music while highlighting a creative partnership rooted in atmospheric production and introspective songwriting.

The EP arrives following the release of its lead single, When You Had It All,” and features cover artwork created by Kyle Berger of Geese, adding another layer to the project’s carefully crafted aesthetic.

Some Kind Of Life follows Perfect Person‘s acclaimed self-titled debut EP, Perfect Person, which introduced listeners to Williamson’s distinctive blend of electronic pop and heartfelt lyricism. That project featured collaborations with Sophia Stel, Asal Hazel, Dalilah, and Shye01, earning recognition from Alternative Press, Nina Protocol, and SoundFynd, the latter naming it one of its standout releases from the first half of 2026.

Released in January, the debut EP was led by the singles “Wishful Thinking” featuring Dalilah, marking the pair’s second collaboration after “Care For Me,” alongside the fan-favorite “Feel U.” Together, the releases established Perfect Person as an emerging voice in the electronic pop landscape, balancing shimmering production with deeply personal songwriting.

Reflecting on the origins of the project, Williamson explained that returning home to Vancouver in late 2024 became a turning point in his creative journey.

“I started this project in September 2024 after just moving back to Vancouver at a time when I was feeling pretty stuck artistically. I needed to rediscover the love I felt when I first started learning to make music a decade ago, so I finally made a home for the electronic ideas I’d had over the years that didn’t fit anywhere else.”

That renewed creative spirit continues throughout Some Kind Of Life, which sees Perfect Person and Holostar further explore lush electronic textures, melodic songwriting, and emotionally resonant soundscapes. The EP builds naturally on Williamson’s artistic evolution while introducing a fresh collaborative dynamic that complements his signature production style.

With Some Kind Of Life, Perfect Person continues to carve out a distinctive space within the indie electronic scene, delivering another thoughtful and immersive release that underscores his growing reputation as one of Canada’s most promising emerging electronic artists.
