Introspective Vancouver-based alternative pop and electronic artist Sophia Stel has announced her self-produced debut album, the greatest album of all time, set for release on October 16 via A24 Music. Alongside the announcement, Sophia has shared the album’s fourth single, “I Do,” a euphoric, trance-infused post-club anthem accentuated by her emotional and airy auto-tuned vocals.
Directed by her close friend, Scarlet Ross, the accompanying music video features Sophia listlessly drifting through the streets of New York, perusing the wares of the Diamond District while discreetly cloaked in her usual ensemble of casual yet effortlessly cool attire.
Leading up to today’s announcement, Sophia has shared three singles so far this year. April’s “Bitches Talk Shit” caught the attention of Robyn, followed by June’s “Molly In The Club” and August’s heartfelt “Now I’ve Got A Lot You Know.” The latter arrived with a self-edited video single starring her younger brothers, with whom she shares a Vancouver apartment.
Now, with sold-out shows across the globe, including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, where she opened for Lorde, as well as numerous European festival dates this past summer, Sophia Stel is leaning into her rapid ascent to stardom with the announcement of her self-produced and aptly titled debut album, the greatest album of all time, out October 16 via A24 Music.

Sophia Stel’s upcoming self-produced debut album, the greatest album of all time, walks a liminal edge rarely encountered in contemporary pop music. Euphoric, deconstructed club tracks reminiscent of classic Euro-rave anthems rise and fall alongside textured ambient synths, modulated vocals, and confessional lyricism.
In a sea of algorithmically reinforced micro-genres, Stel’s unique sound breaks through thanks to her deeply personal songwriting and meticulous combination of dancefloor-beckoning electronic production paired with subdued and emotionally charged melodies.
Having recently graced the pages of Wonderland Magazine’s Miley Cyrus guest-edited Summer 2026 issue, as well as the cover of POP Magazine, Sophia looks forward to performing at A.G. Cook and PC Music’s POP CRYPT event at Knockdown Center in Brooklyn this October. She will then close out the year with performances at Primavera Sound in Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
