The Mac Miller Estate is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Mac Miller’s landmark album The Divine Feminine with a special anniversary edition available digitally and physically, alongside the release of a previously unseen concert performance.

Originally released on September 16, 2016, The Divine Feminine marked a major creative shift for Mac Miller, who followed the rap-focused GO:OD AM with a more experimental project centered around love, intimacy, and the power of women.

The new 10th anniversary edition expands the album with three previously unheard songs from the sessions that produced The Divine Feminine. Among them is “Butterflies,” a Taylor Graves-produced track featuring Thundercat that was first shared in August.

Physical editions of the anniversary release include deluxe and standard 3LP vinyl versions. The previously sold-out deluxe edition has also been restocked and is available for pre-order alongside merchandise and a standard anniversary vinyl variant through the Mac Miller online store.

The anniversary celebration continues with The Divine Feminine Live, a new concert special directed by Sam Balaban. Set to premiere tonight at 10 p.m. ET, the performance features Mac Miller performing songs from the album and draws from a television special recorded in 2016.

The Mac Miller Estate previously gave fans a preview of the footage, offering a glimpse at the performance that has remained unseen in full for nearly a decade.

When The Divine Feminine arrived in 2016, it represented another evolution in a career defined by constant creative experimentation. Following GO:OD AM, Mac Miller took a different approach, incorporating more singing and a genre-spanning production style while exploring themes surrounding love and relationships.

The album’s willingness to move beyond traditional rap structures helped establish a direction that would continue to develop throughout Mac Miller’s music. Pitchfork described the project at the time as “easily his most intoxicating release yet,” while its blend of singing, experimentation, and genre-fluid songwriting pointed toward the sound that would emerge more fully on his 2018 album Swimming.

Ten years after its original release, The Divine Feminine remains an important part of Mac Miller’s catalog. The expanded anniversary edition gives longtime listeners three more pieces from the album’s creative period, while The Divine Feminine Live offers another opportunity to experience the project through Mac Miller’s original live performance.
