Australian producer Juliet Fox and French producer CARAVEL join forces for their debut on Insomniac’s MUTATE Records with “Nobody Else (Off My Mind),” a hard-psy collaboration that brings two distinct approaches to techno together. Built for maximum dancefloor impact, the track balances hypnotic vocals and emotional melodies with blistering percussion, relentless basslines, and industrial textures.
At the heart of “Nobody Else (Off My Mind)” is a vocal hook centered on the compulsive headspace of limerence—the feeling of becoming consumed by an inescapable fixation. From there, the production wastes little time building pressure. Galloping basslines and driving percussion push the track forward, while zipper rolls, mechanical textures, anabolic screeches, and choir-like vocal harmonies add to its intensity.
The arrangement also leaves room for contrast. Crunching breakbeat syncopation cuts through the harder sections, while emotional melodies and powerful vocal elements provide a more expressive counterpoint to the track’s relentless hard-psy foundation. Rather than forcing the two artists into a single sound, “Nobody Else (Off My Mind)” allows recognizable elements of both Juliet Fox and CARAVEL to coexist within one high-energy production.
The idea for the collaboration first emerged when the artists played together in New York in August 2025. What began as a conversation eventually developed into a studio exchange, with both producers looking for a way to connect their individual approaches while maintaining what makes each of them unique.

Originally from Adelaide and now based in Lisbon, Juliet Fox has established herself as an Australian producer, podcaster, and label head with a longstanding presence in the international club circuit. Her sound combines hypnotic techno, raw ’90s grooves, tripped-out vocals, and flashes of industrial intensity, shaped in part by her years immersed in the underground scene of Berlin.
Away from the DJ booth, Fox heads up her TREGAMBE label and hosts The Mother Frequency, a podcast exploring motherhood and life within the music industry. She also launched TECHNOPATRA, an ongoing series created to showcase different dimensions of her evolving sound. Her releases have earned extensive Spotify support from Techno Bunker, Hard Techno, Electronic Rising, and Techno State, among others.
Raised in Lyon and now based in Paris, CARAVEL has become a notable name within the hard-techno underground. Her sound moves across schranz, psytrance, industrial, and techno, combining heavy production with melody and emotion. Her high-energy performances have taken her to Boiler Room, Teletech, and EDC Las Vegas, while her music has received support from Nico Moreno, Charlie Sparks, Amelie Lens, Lilly Palmer, and AZYR.
She has also released music through Exhale, Hekate, and Sacred Court, alongside her own HAKU imprint.
