Finland’s Flow Festival has announced the first wave of artists for its 21st edition, returning to select venues around the iconic Suvilahti Power Plant in downtown Helsinki from August 14–16, 2026. Known for its eclectic curation, Flow brings together global voices across genres for a three-day celebration of contemporary music and culture.

The initial lineup highlights both generational icons and emerging trailblazers. International names include Florence + The Machine, returning to Flow with her emotionally charged lit-rock that has inspired a generation of songwriters, and Zara Larsson, whose polished pop sound belies a deep understanding of dance music history. Making their Flow debuts are London’s PinkPantheress, whose 2025 hit “Illegal” fuses UK garage and hardcore influences, and New York’s Sombr, a rising songwriter blending bedroom-pop intimacy with disco and glam rock-inspired hooks.

Hip-hop fans will be treated to the long-awaited reunion of ClipsePusha T and Malice—returning with their classic stripped-back, gritty sound on Let God Sort ‘Em Out, produced by longtime collaborator Pharrell.

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds also make their way to Helsinki following two years on the road in support of Wild God, performing tracks from their extensive four-decade catalog alongside collaborators Colin Greenwood and Warren Ellis. Hardcore and punk energy comes from Turnstile, delivering high-intensity mosh-worthy performances, and Lambrini Girls, embodying a girls-to-the-front ethos reminiscent of The Slits and Bikini Kill.

Electronic music continues to play a central role in Flow’s programming. Ireland’s hard-techno standout KETTAMA, Oklou with her genre-defying production, Honey Dijon showcasing the Black queer roots of house and disco, and Nu Genea delivering explosive live band performances exploring African music’s influence on Neapolitan dance sounds all contribute to the festival’s diverse sonic palette.

Local Finnish talent reflects the city’s genre-fluid approach, including neo-pop artist Vesta, alt-rock revivalists Pearly Drops, Euro dance and rap-infused Olga, emo-trap act louna0nline, folk legend J. Karjalainen, and emerging stars Jaakko Kulta and Arppa 8-pack.

Artists Announced for Flow Festival 2026 (A–Z):
