Lambrini Girls return with their blistering new single ‘Cult Of Celebrity,’ a ferocious and unfiltered critique of power, privilege, and the dark realities surrounding global elites. Hailing from Brighton, the duo—Phoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Selin Macieira (bass)—waste no time setting the tone, launching into a relentless barrage of thrashing guitars and confrontational lyricism that cuts straight to the core of contemporary disillusionment.

From its opening riff, ‘Cult Of Celebrity’ channels the raw intensity that has quickly defined Lambrini Girls as one of the UK’s most vital punk exports. The track leans fully into their signature blend of biting humor and unapologetic rage, delivering a no-holds-barred indictment of high society’s long-mythologized corruption—now reframed through a modern, unfiltered lens.

Speaking on the release, the band states: “The age old tale, of selling your soul to the devil has been fabled accounts of high society for years. However due to recent events come to light—it turns out that the elite are very much actually, the devil incarnate, baby eating, pedos. What a fucking surprise! They had no souls to sell in the first place.”

The single arrives alongside an official video directed by Harv Frost, known for his work with The Last Dinner Party and Laufey. The visual component further amplifies the track’s chaotic energy, translating its confrontational message into a striking, visceral aesthetic.

Following the breakout success of their debut album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ in 2025, Lambrini Girls have continued to build serious momentum. The record earned widespread acclaim across the rock world, landing the band on the covers of NOTION, Kerrang!, Paste, and New Noise, while drawing praise from Pitchfork, which highlighted its “righteous fury” in tackling misogyny and homophobia. The duo has also received co-signs from Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill, Iggy Pop, and Sleater-Kinney, further cementing their place within the global punk conversation.

Renowned for their explosive live performances, Lambrini Girls are set to take their high-impact show across North America and Europe this year. The run includes headline dates such as a performance at Warsaw, alongside major festival appearances at Bonnaroo, a stop on Warped Tour in Washington, D.C., Primavera Sound in Barcelona, and Way Out West in Gothenburg.

With ‘Cult Of Celebrity,’ Lambrini Girls double down on the fearless attitude and razor-sharp commentary that have propelled their rise—delivering a track that feels as urgent as it is unapologetically confrontational, and setting the stage for another explosive chapter in their rapidly evolving career.
