The Columbo Group has revealed the full lineup for the debut edition of Boa Nova Festival, set to take place at Leyton Jubilee Park on Friday, May 22, 2026. Marking a major moment for Brazilian culture in the UK, the inaugural event brings together a lineup comprised exclusively of Brazilian artists, celebrating the depth, diversity, and vibrancy of the country’s contemporary music scene.

Spanning two stages, Boa Nova Festival will be headlined by João Gomes, Liniker, and Mari Froes—three pioneering voices representing different facets of modern Brazilian music. The lineup also features a mix of established and emerging talent, including A Música De Tim Maia, D. Vyzor, and a special guest yet to be announced, further reinforcing the festival’s commitment to showcasing a wide spectrum of sounds.

A second, dance-focused stage—created in partnership with Baile Funk Culture—will spotlight artists including Caio Prince, Th4ys, Bronka, DJ Patife, and Mango & Ginger, bringing high-energy rhythms rooted in baile funk and electronic music into the heart of London.

Organizers describe the launch as a natural evolution following years of sold-out shows at The Jazz Cafe, noting: “After years of sold-out shows at the Jazz Cafe for London’s Brazilian community, we’re excited to bring our most ambitious lineup yet to an outdoor celebration of Brazilian music this May Bank Holiday.”

Designed to place Brazilian music on equal footing within London’s established festival circuit, Boa Nova Festival offers both emerging and globally recognized artists a platform to connect with new audiences. Beyond the music, the event will feature immersive cultural programming that reflects the spirit of Brazil, with live samba drumming, Samba de Malandro performances, carnival-inspired showcases, and sounds spanning Brazilian Axé and Brazilian Funk.

The experience extends into food and drink, with vendors such as Aroma Grill and Broll Grill serving traditional Brazilian Churrasco, offering festivalgoers an authentic taste of Brazil’s rich culinary heritage.

Local residents in Waltham Forest will have access to discounted tickets, alongside a limited number of complimentary passes available via ballot. Additional information on ticketing, accessibility, and event details is now available as anticipation builds.

Presented in collaboration with the UK/Brazil Season of Culture 2025-26, Boa Nova Festival is poised to become a standout addition to London’s cultural calendar—bringing the energy, color, and sound of Brazil to the city in a bold and immersive new format.
