Eartheater, the multidisciplinary project of artist Alexandra Drewchin, has shared a new single titled “Crown Jewel,” offering another glimpse into her forthcoming album Heavenly Body: If I’m The Bottle You’re The Message, due July 14. The release arrives alongside a music video filmed in Drewchin’s new home, adding an intimate visual layer to one of her most personal creative eras to date.
The new track continues the emotional and conceptual thread of the upcoming album, a body of work shaped by themes of transformation, motherhood, embodiment, and mythic self-reflection. Written during a period of profound personal change following the birth of her daughter, the record captures a moment where lived experience and artistic expression converge in real time.
Speaking about “Crown Jewel,” Eartheater frames the song as both a love letter and a reflection on growing into one’s physical and emotional presence. “I wrote this love song for my baby girl but I guess its subplot is about good posture,” she explains. “I was very tall at a young age—taller than all the boys and sometimes taller than grown ups. My girl is probably going to be taller than me and I just want her to shine as bright as she can and not feel self conscious about it.”
She adds that one of her early responses to comments about her height inspired a lyrical reference in the track: “It’s like I’m in a penthouse in Dubai.”
Heavenly Body: If I’m The Bottle You’re The Message is described as one of Eartheater’s most intimate and expansive works, blending diaristic detail with mythopoetic abstraction. Across its 11 tracks, the album explores the pregnant body as a vessel for transformation, weaving together moments of everyday reality with larger existential and emotional themes. From clinical medical routines to deeply personal reflections on identity and intimacy, the project captures the complexity of creation in its most literal and symbolic forms.
Sonically, the album moves fluidly between dance-inflected lullabies, experimental electronic textures, post-wave intensity, and expansive art-pop structures. It reflects an immediacy shaped by its rapid creation—written just months after the birth of her daughter, Nova, and completed in a concentrated creative burst that prioritized instinct over deliberation.
The album was primarily produced by Eartheater alongside David Sitek (known for work with TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Jane’s Addiction), with the closing track “Nova” co-produced with Nosaj Thing and Michael Andrews, and featuring guest contributions from artist Oklou. The result is a body of work that feels both meticulously crafted and emotionally unfiltered.

Across her career, Eartheater has established a singular creative language that merges experimental electronic production with acoustic sensitivity and poetic lyricism. Her work frequently explores themes of transformation, erosion, and metamorphosis, positioning her as one of contemporary music’s most distinctive and shape-shifting voices.
Her influence extends well beyond recorded music. She has collaborated with artists such as FKA twigs, contributing to the lead single of the Grammy-winning album EUSEXUA, as well as working with Sega Bodega, Shygirl, and ensemble Alarm Will Sound. Her music has also appeared in fashion presentations for houses including Chanel, Dior, Proenza Schouler, and Mugler, reinforcing her presence across both experimental and high-fashion spaces.
To support the album, Eartheater will perform headline shows in Los Angeles and New York City this July before heading to Europe for dates in London, Paris, and Berlin.
With “Crown Jewel,” Eartheater continues to expand the emotional and sonic language of Heavenly Body, offering a tender, grounded entry point into an album that explores the fragile, transformative space between identity, creation, and care.
