Tuesday, Insomniac CEO and Founder Pasquale Rotella sent out an email to all previous campers and Future Owls making them aware that Clark County has decided that CAMP EDC 2020 will now be subject to the same pricey lodging taxes as the resorts and hotels on The Strip. Knowing that this would come as a surprise to us, as it did to him, Pasquale has kindly decided to take the burden of the fees upon himself for those who purchase before Monday, September 2nd at 11:59 PM PST. To reiterate, get on it! We all know what the taxes are like in Vegas- this is your chance by the grace of Pasquale to pass by those nasty additional fees. Not to mention, like all festivals the first layaway option is always the best pricing available.
As a reminder, CAMP EDC 2020 starts the day before the festival on Thursday, May 14th for a pre-party. There will be a separate lineup and if we are lucky some special guests will drop in. Throughout the remainder of the weekend, you will have opportunities to attend pool parties daily, go roller skating, hit a carnival ride and much more. We all know Insomniac and Pasquale listen, for example when we recently requested more camping for Nocturnal Wonderland and the wish was granted. There will be some logistical improvements and new details brought to CAMP EDC 2020.
