Australian-born, Denver-based artist Blanke has unveiled his long-awaited debut album, EDGE OF THE WORLD, bringing together years of sonic experimentation, personal growth and world-building into his most ambitious artistic statement to date.

More than a debut LP, EDGE OF THE WORLD serves as the emotional destination of the universe Blanke has gradually developed throughout 2026. Across the album, themes of destruction, rebirth, hope and human connection unfold through a cinematic soundscape that moves fluidly between melodic bass, trap, midtempo, electronica and experimental sound design.

The journey begins with “Kethexis,” an explosive opener that combines relentless trap energy with cinematic tension before transitioning into “Unbound,” where sweeping orchestration meets the darker, bass-heavy production that has become a signature of the Blanke sound.

The album also brings his three-part EP trilogy to its conclusion. Tracks including “Internal Shell” and “Colder” featuring Megan Ashworth from PART I – EXODUS, “Arsenal” and “Beautiful Tragedy” featuring Ella Poletti from PART II – SKYFIRE, and “Sunrise” featuring Jex alongside “Synchronise” from PART III – AWAKENING are woven into the album’s broader narrative, giving the individual chapters new meaning within the complete story.

That world expands further through an impressive lineup of collaborators. Jason Ross and ZOHARA join Blanke on the euphoric “Born Again,” while Illoh adds a groove-driven experimental edge to “Illustrious.” Linney delivers her unmistakable vocals on the cinematic “Hysteria,” while EDDIE and NEVVE contribute to the heavier “Entropy.” Virtual Riot brings additional intensity to “Ultriminal,” while Blanke reunites with 1788-L for “Illuminate,” creating a hard-hitting collision between their respective approaches to futuristic bass music.

Rather than functioning as isolated guest appearances, each collaboration contributes to the album’s larger emotional arc. The diverse cast allows Blanke to explore different corners of his production while maintaining the narrative cohesion that drives EDGE OF THE WORLD from beginning to end.

Far From Home

“I’m so excited to present my first album, EDGE OF THE WORLD. This project has been a long time coming. It’s been a journey of learning and self-discovery. The music is an expression of old and new influences, allowing me to release the kinds of songs I haven’t had the opportunity to yet. A representation of all the different genres and sounds I’ve made over the last 10 years. It’s an amalgamation of friction points, escaping incorrect paths, finding new ones, and coming out the other side. Visually, it’s similar to a story I’ve wanted to explore for many years, documenting the fall of the earth, and the rise of a new one. This has been a meaningful experience for me as a human and an artist, and I hope you feel that as you listen to it and absorb it in whatever way you do.”

The album arrives during a landmark period for Blanke, who has continued expanding his presence across the global electronic music landscape. His 2026 festival run has included appearances at Ubbi Dubbi, Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge on the MainStage and Lost In Dreams, adding to a growing live resume built around his ability to translate his cinematic productions into large-scale performances.

With more than 250 million combined streams, Blanke has also collaborated with artists including Illenium, REZZ, Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, Gryffin, NGHTMRE, Big Gigantic and Dabin. His ability to move between emotional songwriting, cinematic electronic music and heavier underground club sounds has become one of the defining characteristics of his career.

Now, EDGE OF THE WORLD brings those influences together into a single body of work.

The album also launches the next phase of Blanke’s touring cycle. In late June, he announced his highly anticipated Far From Home co-headline tour with Virtual Riot, which begins on album release day at Echostage in Washington, D.C. The North American run will visit major markets including Rebel in Toronto, Brooklyn Steel in New York and Royale in Boston, before concluding at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The album era will then reach a special hometown finale at Reelworks in Denver in early February 2027.

“I’m so excited to take the project on the road this Fall too – joining forces with Virtual Riot for our co-Headline ‘Far From Home’ Tour. Val has been a great collaborator this year, and I can’t wait to get this tour started!”

Alongside his work as Blanke, his drum & bass counterpart ÆON:MODE has continued its own rapid ascent, with headline tours across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America, as well as appearances at EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Liquicity and Let It Roll.

The two projects operate as complementary sides of the same creative identity, allowing Blanke to explore the space between melody and intensity, cinematic storytelling and underground club energy. Together, they demonstrate the breadth of an artist who has spent the past decade refusing to be confined to a single sound.

Blanke

With EDGE OF THE WORLD, Blanke doesn’t simply arrive with his debut album. He brings years of experimentation, collaboration and storytelling to a culmination point, delivering his most complete artistic statement yet. It is an album built around transformation — the collapse of one world, the uncertainty of what follows and the possibility of creating something new from the aftermath.
