Following the release of her collaborative LATESTATE EP with L3Ni earlier this summer, AQUTIE returns with a new chapter for PELE PELE. The label’s latest release is a remix series that further develops its mission of connecting dancefloors across continents through boundary-pushing club music.
For LATESTATE Remixes, producers State OFFF and shekdash revisit the EP through the distinct perspectives of their respective local scenes, bringing together sonic influences shaped by Zimbabwe and New York. Rather than simply reworking the original tracks, both producers transform them into reflections of the club cultures that continue to shape their own artistic identities.
The result reinforces the core philosophy behind PELE PELE: creating a space where different global club movements can exist side by side, connected through rhythm, experimentation and the shared energy of the dancefloor.
The series opens with State OFFF, the Zimbabwean producer whose fearless approach to gqom has established him as one of the genre’s most compelling innovators. His remix of “All The Time” strips the track down into a hypnotic, percussion-driven workout, emphasizing the raw physicality and relentless momentum that define his sound.

From there, shekdash takes “Baddiesss” into the darker, more uncompromising territory of New York’s underground techno scene. The producer injects the track with a raw intensity built for late-night dancefloors, transforming the original into a hard-edged club weapon while maintaining the character of the AQUTIE and L3Ni collaboration.

The release arrives as both producers continue extending their reach well beyond their home scenes. State OFFF is set to take his sound from Dekmantel to Outlook, followed by appearances across India and Kenya, while shekdash continues a strong run of performances throughout North America, including sets at BASEMENT, Nowadays and Signal NYC.
For AQUTIE, the remix series also marks another step in the evolution of PELE PELE. Since launching the label earlier this year, she has positioned it as more than an outlet for her own productions. Instead, PELE PELE functions as an evolving platform for artists reshaping contemporary club music from within their own communities, using collaboration and rhythm to blur the geographical lines that often separate scenes.
