Insomniac has officially unveiled the lineup for Countdown NYE 2025, marking the 11th edition of its signature intergalactic New Year’s Eve celebration. This year, the festival makes first contact with a new home in Downtown Los Angeles, transforming the Los Angeles Convention Center into a massive cosmic playground for its most ambitious edition yet. From 7 PM to 5 AM, the city will pulse with alien energy across four immersive stages, the return of the provocative Red Light District, and a world-class lineup ready to guide fans into the new year.
Leading the charge are house music powerhouse John Summit, trance icons Above & Beyond, and the legendary Eric Prydz performing under his revered Pryda alias. They’re joined by Madeon (DJ Set) bringing his cinematic flair, and SLANDER, whose emotionally charged bass-meets-melody sound promises to move hearts and dance floors alike. Drum & bass titan Sub Focus will deliver high-octane rhythms, while Crankdat and Wuki bring explosive, genre-blurring performances built for maximum energy.
The lineup continues to impress with AK SPORTS, Ship Wrek, and MPH, each representing the cutting edge of modern club culture. On the harder side, Countdown NYE 2025 welcomes underground techno and hard dance heavyweights Kobosil, Cera Khin, Clara Cuvé, Kevin de Vries, and Shlømo, alongside rising stars southstar, Starjunk 95, Gravagerz, Close Friends Only, Marie Nyx, AR/CO, and OdyMel.
With its move to Downtown Los Angeles, Countdown NYE reimagines the end-of-year celebration as an expansive, interstellar experience. Festivalgoers will explore towering art installations and alien-inspired environments, toasting under starlit lights as they enter a new cosmic era. The infamous Red Light District returns once again, offering its signature blend of mystery and risqué allure within the heart of the festival.
GA and VIP passes are on sale now via Countdown NYE’s official website. VIP Headliners can enhance their experience with exclusive amenities including expedited entry, elevated viewing areas, and premium food and beverage options. VIP access is 21+, while Countdown NYE remains an 18+ event.
