Electro Pop power-house Ladytron are proving 2019 is the year of the comeback. Following a string of sold-out West Coast shows and the release of a new album, they’ve announced several East Coast dates which include New York, Boston, Montreal, and Toronto.
Helen Marnie, Reuben Wu, Mira Aroyo, and Daniel Hunt make up Ladytron. Their blend of experimental, new wave, electro-pop sounds have made them an instant fan favorite. After taking a lengthy eight-year hiatus, they’re back with a new album and tour.
Their sixth studio album “Ladytron” was released in February and entered the Billboard Dance/Electronic charts at number 13. This album has received rave reviews from some of the biggest names in the business. Many are saying this is their best work since “The Witching Hour”.
Ladytron’s new LP pushes the boundaries of electronic-pop in invigorating directions with thirteen songs that explore the disquiet of our times. Loaded with their trademark analog synths, it’s propelled by relentless rhythm. Ladytron is the band’s most definitive work. It’s a hypercharged release full of catchy hooks, rousing riffs, sweeping melodies, and thickly textured harmonies that radiate a visceral urgency.
This year is continuing to be stellar for Ladytron. Their new self-titled LP is available now. Also, make sure to check out the full listing of their upcoming tour dates and catch them at a city near you.
