The first phase for programming for the Winter Music Conference (WMC) 2020 has been announced and it’s offering a program filled with some of the greatest names in the Electronic Dance Music world. Additional features include opportunities for new artists, an extensive exhibition hall, mentor sessions, and the Miami Music Week Oasis. As always, WMC will focus on its four pillars: music, technology, education, and culture.
The Winter Music Conference, being held March 16-19, 2020 at The Faena Forum, will include heavy hitters in the music industry. Discussions will include input from artists like Barbara Tucker, Carl Craig, Josh Wink, Roger Sanchez, Seth Troxler, Tommie Sunshine, and Sydney Blu. Equally extraordinary, the keynote address will be presented by Grammy-nominated Sofi Tukker, YouTube‘s Global Head of Music Lyor Cohen, and Ultra Music Founder Patrick Moxey.
A new feature called Signed on the Spot will give aspiring artists and producers the opportunity to present their work and demos in hopes to be discovered and signed by leading international electronic music labels. Artists presenting work in Bass, Techno, House and Dance will be featured in this special spotlighting event.
The Exhibition Hall will have a dedicated stage with classroom sessions offering education and gear partners, hands-on-tutorials, product demonstrations, and live performances.
The industry’s biggest names and creators will meet for Mentor Sessions hosted by artists including Josh Wink and Sydney Blu. Joining the mentoring panel will be industry professionals, including but not limited to, Pandora’s Andrew Marcogliese, Beatports’s Jonas Tempel, Little Empire‘s Stephanie LaFera, SBE’s Kozmoe Alonzo and Falcon PR’s Alexandra Greenberg.
Serving as the new social hub for WMC in conjunction with Miami Music Week, the MMW OASIS will be hosted at the Generator Miami only a block away of the WMC HQ. MMW Oasis will host five days of private poolside parties, cocktail hours, yoga sessions, workshops, and industry networking events. Don’t miss out on this incredible conference!
