If you’ve adopted a religious devotion to House and Techno, are over the Gen Z EDM culture, or are just a seasoned festival veteran, then CRSSD is the one for you. They truly have created a unique sector in the scene by sticking to the roots of what a festival should really be about: the music. CRSSD’s next event will be happening on March 7th and 8th, 2020 in San Diego’s Waterfront Park and they just dropped a killer lineup.
CRSSD is featuring headliners like GESAFFELSTEIN, Carl Cox, and Soulwax. Throw in Chris Lake, The Rapture, Nora En Pure, Patrick Topping, Purple Disco Machine, and Charlotte de Witte and you’ve got yourself a festival made perfectly for the Techno, Trance, and House queens. CRSSD even added in recently Grammy-nominated RÜFÜS DU SOL. Could we possibly ask for more?
Curated by the powerhouse promotion company FNGRS CRSSD, and on its tenth iteration, they have produced massive events every spring and fall. CRSSD offers three unique stages: Ocean View, The Palms, and City Steps. Each stage is built with a special genre in mind. For example, the City Step stage offers Techno underneath an administrative building, which you might not expect here in the states, but it preserves the underground vibe Techno is known for.
The venue is surrounded by the liveliness of downtown San Diego on one side, with sunsets gorgeously spread out over the backdrop of the water on the other. The festival only allows attendees that are 21 and up, allowing it to be a safe haven for the older crowd of EDM lovers. It hosts a large grassy area for lounging around where you can try out various craft beers and gourmet food vendors.
Check out more information about the festival and get your ticket when it goes live on December 10th at 11AM (PST).
