‘U Should Know’ That This Week’s New Music Has A Lot Of ‘Flavour’ | ICYMI Monday

Stoneface & Terminal x Robert Nickson – ‘From The Sun (Enigma State Remix)’

Enigma State is an interesting project by Manchester-based Nathan Stealey. The E.S. concept is to roll back the clock to the pre-VST, pre-sample-pack days, when Trance producers used old school hardware to create their music. It was a different world back then, and the classic instruments, FX, sequencers and production tricks employed by Nathan create a particular ‘sound’ which is synonymous with late nineties trance music! Enigma State has applied this approach to Stoneface & Terminal and Robert Nickson’s From the Sun’, a gargantuan hit on Pure Trance from 2021, and we think you’ll enjoy the resulting two variations. The ‘Enigma State Club Remix’ is more DJ-friendly, whereas the ‘Enigma State Remix’ is more of an extended journey.

Armin van Buuren x Diane Warren – Live On Love (feat. My Marianne)’

Inspired by the notion that love is worth more than anything else, Armin van Buuren’s new single, ‘Live On Love’ is the perfect marriage between heartening lyrics, strong vocals and a contagious chord progression. Made in tandem with Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren and songstress My Marianne, this track is destined to resonate with fans worldwide.

Paul van Dyk x Alex M.O.R.P.H. – ‘Hawkins Square’

Produced in tandem between Paul van Dyk and his longtime friend, studio mate, and VANDIT Records artist, Alex M.O.R.P.H., ‘Hawkins Square’ is driving and dark; a bath of progressive house and squelching 303s that’s a nod to Stranger Things’ mysterious story line.

Andrew Rayel – ‘Lifeline’

Picking up where he left off after ‘Feels Like Home’, Andrew Rayel moves into a deeper dimension with a vocal cut reminiscent of his timeless ‘Everything Everything’. Shaped by a unique vocal presence, a driving bassline and a main melody that calls for arms spread and raised to the skies, ‘Lifeline’ is the much anticipated title track from Andrew’s forthcoming artist album.

Artento Divini x Davey Asprey pres. A.D.D.A. – ‘Divos’

VIZE x R3HAB – ‘One Last Time’

“I’ve been following VIZE for many years, and I am excited that we’ve finally found the right opportunity to work together. I really enjoyed this creative process from day one; VIZE has a clear direction and excellent work ethic. ‘One Last Time’ is a record about coming to terms with reality and choosing to dance in the moment. It has a simple elegance to it, and I believe it is exactly what it needed to be.”

Above & Beyond – ‘With Yout Hope (Maor Levi Remix)’

“I was asked to remix one of the tracks from Group Therapy for the album’s 10-year anniversary, and I wanted to choose a track that didn’t get much attention. For me, that was ‘With Your Hope’. Above & Beyond’s original version started as an instrumental, and then they added the Richard Bedford vocal which made it even better to me. So I decided that I had to be the first one to remix it!”

This song idea [‘Cure My Desire’] was the first idea in the folder and I was hooked immediately. I played it on repeat for hours and cried my eyeballs out. Felt like one of those fateful moments.”
