The initial lineup for The Untz Festival has been revealed. The fourth annual music and camping festival from the electronic music news and events website TheUntz.com returns to the Mariposa County Fairgrounds in Mariposa, CA from May 31- June 2, 2019.
As part of The Untz Festival mission to connect fans, artists, labels, and promoters from across the underground electronic music community, The Untz has assembled a roster of cutting-edge artists from the experimental, left-field, and downright weird segments of the American and International bass music circuit, as well as brought together crews, collectives, and labels from these distinct scenes under one umbrella to camp out under the stars.
Space Jesus returns after taking a year off to headline the festival, which also welcomes superstars Boogie T and Bleep Bloop. The riddim contingent is strong with Subtronics, Al Ross, and HE$H, who will all perform as part of the Gravedancer Takeover. Speaking of takeovers, breakout collective Slug Wife makes the trip from the UK with Kursa, K.L.O., and a surprise special guest who is known to leave us wanting more, especially with their scheduled 3 hours set at this years The Untz Festival.
Freddy Todd and Of The Trees kick off the weekend on Friday evening for the Early Arrival Party. Performers also include Big Chocolate, Goopsteppa, Pushloop, Thelem, G-Space, and many more with stages hosted by WORMHOLE, SUB.MISSION, and SHADOWTRIX MUSIC.
With this music campout, The Untz strives to bring the intimate, family and friends vibes to the stunning beauty of Northern California. With Mariposa, Calif. under an hour to Yosemite Village at the mouth of Yosemite National Park, fans get a destination festival that makes them feel right at home. The Untz Festival boasts 4 stages featuring top notch sound and lights, 2 of which will be indoor, late-night stages with different styles of music running all night. The Early Arrival Party will be held on May 31 to kick off the event.
We are so stoked!
