Shattered Shores Announces Star-Studded Lineup For Inaugural Pop-Punk And Emo Cruise

A new music cruise is bringing a generation of pop-punk, emo, and alternative fans together at sea. Shattered Shores has unveiled the lineup for its inaugural September 2027 sailing, bringing together influential names from the scene’s past and present alongside a new generation of artists carrying the sound forward.

Headlining the voyage are 3OH!3, New Found Glory, and Cobra Starship, with Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup also joining the celebration.

The expansive lineup continues with Breathe Carolina, Cartel, Hey Monday, The Summer Set, MOD SUN, nothing, nowhere., Stand Atlantic, Plain White T’s, Hot Chelle Rae, Millington, LØLØ, Driveways, Charlotte Sands, Winona Fighter, As December Falls, Chandler Leighton, Diva Bleach, Like Roses, Not My Weekend, Action/Adventure, SuckerPunch!, Four Year Strong, Broadside, DAVVN, and Public Works.

Additional artists, collaborations, and onboard experiences are still to be announced, giving fans plenty more to anticipate ahead of the inaugural sailing.

Years in the making, Shattered Shores grew from Whet Travel’s Taking Back Emo events and its fan-favorite takeovers aboard Groove Cruise. The new sailing was created in response to demand from the alternative music community, evolving those experiences into a dedicated celebration of the music, culture, and connections that shaped an entire generation.

But Shattered Shores isn’t designed simply to recreate the past. Instead, the experience aims to bring together the nostalgia of the pop-punk and emo era with the artists, fans, and ideas shaping its next chapter.

The inaugural sailing will take place aboard the brand-new Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, which will feature the first artist-designed live music venue at sea, the world’s largest 5 o’Clock Somewhere, and newly introduced Bridge Wing Suites with expansive outdoor spaces.

Across the multi-day voyage, live performances and DJ sets will sit alongside curated events and artist-led programming designed to create opportunities for genuine interaction between musicians and fans. Artist panels, fan activations, hosted dinners, and other experiences will complement the music, while mental health and wellness programming will be integrated throughout the sailing.

At the heart of the concept is what Whet Travel calls the “Groove Effect” — the idea that shared experiences, genuine connection, and a sense of belonging can create memories that last long after the ship returns to shore.

For Shattered Shores, that means creating an environment where the experience extends beyond the stage. The goal is to recreate the feeling of finding your people in real life, whether through a late-night performance that stretches into morning, a spontaneous conversation with another fan, or a friendship that continues long after the voyage ends.

The sailing’s vision is being led by Managing Director John “Skeeter” Porrata, with support from Whet Travel Founder and CEO Jason Beukema. Porrata has built his career around developing fan-first experiences rooted in community and culture, while Beukema has grown Whet Travel into one of the world’s largest independent music cruise companies, with a focus on connection, transformation, mental health, and the Groove Effect.

Shattered Shores will also partner with Idobi Summer School Festival and So What? Music Festival to curate exclusive hosted experiences onboard.

The collaboration brings together Kevin Lyman, founder of Warped Tour; Eric Tobin, artist manager and co-founder of Hopeless Records; Michael Kaminsky, founder of KMGMT; and Mike Ziemer, co-founder of So What? Music Festival. Together, they bring decades of experience across alternative music, artist development, festivals, and fan culture to the new sailing.

With more artists, special collaborations, and onboard programming still to come, Shattered Shores is positioning its inaugural voyage as more than a nostalgia trip. It is an attempt to capture what made pop-punk, emo, and alternative music communities so meaningful in the first place — and build a new space where those connections can continue to grow.

The first chapter begins at sea in September 2027. For the complete lineup, sailing details, and future artist and programming announcements, visit Shattered Shores.
