Calling all Bassheads! Shambhala Music Festival and The Village Stage are pleased to announce the 2019 Village Stage Lineup. Celebrating the stage’s 20th anniversary, The Village Stage has presented some of the biggest names in bass music over the years, and this year’s lineup is no exception.
Having previously announced Chase & Status (DJ Set) and Excision, The Village Stage has released a stacked lineup of heavy hitters, up-and-comers, all-time favourites, and everything in between. The roster includes Beats Antique, a Wakaan takeover (Champagne Drip, G-Rex, Liquid Stranger), Downlink, Ganja White Night, General Levy, ill.Gates, Jauz, Jungle Cakes Takeover (Ed Solo x Deekline x Benny Page), KJ Sawka, Nero, Phibes, Reid Speed, Rusko, Spag Heddy, and Stylust, as well as many more.
The Village Stage is a unique experience unlike any other, with an immersive environment that weaves through intricately decorated paths that further connect into treehouse walkways. These walkways weave and intertwine around the entirety of The Village Stage’s terrain, encircling an impressive area where revellers can dance and undulate the pulsing baselines provided by PK Sound. The main stage is adorned with a massive eighty-foot tall geodesic structure that encompasses a chandelier-like roof, below of which you will find the world’s greatest talents in electronic music. After celebrating their 21st-anniversary last year, Shambhala Music Festival is thrilled to return to the pristine Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia, Canada on August 9-12, 2019 for the 22nd annual edition. Taking place on a breathtaking family-run farm, festival-goers will have the chance to experience the best of what nature has to offer throughout four blissful days, while witnessing hundreds of world-class artists across six unique stages, each curated and run by their own stage directors.
Shambhala began in 1998 as a grassroots gathering of 500 people on founder Jimmy Bundschuh’s family farm in an evergreen forest beneath breathtaking mountains and has since grown overtime primarily by word-of-mouth thanks to past guests and artists. Shambhala’s home has continued to evolve over the past two decades with a focus on infrastructure that ensures a healthy and sustainable environment. Don’t miss out, tickets are moving fast.
