Troy Henry, the elusive producer behind the TroyBoi brand, began making music in his kitchen on his MacBook. Since then he has taken the electronic dance music genre by storm with his unique blend of electronic, trap, hip-hop, and R&B beats. Responsible for trap-bangers such as ‘Soundclash’ and ‘O.G’, TroyBoi has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in dance music including Diplo and Flosstradamus. TroyBoi will be bringing a wide range of unique, versatile trap beats from his most recent album V!BEZ, Vol. 2 as well as some of his cult favourites to his set at Shambhala 2019.
We are counting down the weeks here at Fresh Music Freaks until Shambhala Music Festival. Soon we will all be returning to the pristine Salmo River Ranch August 9-12, 2019, making it the longest-running electronic music festival in Canada. The festival began in 1998 as a grassroots gathering of 500 people on founder Jimmy Bundschuh’s family farm in an evergreen forest, nestled deep in the breathtaking mountains of interior British Columbia. The festival is a family-run event that operates completely free of corporate sponsorship and offers six unique stage environments. General Admission Tickets for 2019 are on sale now here. Payment plans are also available for 2019 here. Full 2019 lineup TBA early spring.
