Shambhala 2019 | Fractal Forest Brings the Funk!

Shambhala Music Festival is thrilled to announce the 2019 Fractal Forest Lineup. Fractal Forest has been home to some of the biggest names in Funky Beats and Electronic Dance Music, and this year’s lineup is stacked with industry heavy hitters, Shambhala favourites and more.

The Fractal Forest Lineup has presented a massive roster featuring some renowned names including Silk City (Diplo + Mark Ronson), GRiZ, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Chali 2na, SNBRN, Z-Trip (ELPHNT), Jack Beats, Goldfish, Volac, Tony Romera, Cazztek, JFB, A.Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Skratch Bastid, Stickybuds, The Funk Hunters, K+Lab, Smalltown DJs, Defunk, Neon Steve, WBBL, Father Funk, Slynk, JPod, Robb G, SkiiTour, Fort Knox Five & Qdup, Chuck Love plus many more Shambhala favourites.

Fractal Forest had humble beginnings, starting out as a small stage in the forest built on a burnt out, old growth tree stump. 21 years later, this stage has grown into a world-class music venue, home to some of the biggest DJ and artist legends from around the globe. DJs will be dropping everything funky including Breaks, Glitch Hop, House, DnB, Turntablism, Hip Hop and of course straight up Funk. After celebrating their 21st-anniversary last year, Shambhala Music Festival is thrilled to return to the pristine Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia, Canada on August 9-12, 2019 for the 22nd annual edition. Taking place on a breathtaking family-run farm, festival-goers will have the chance to experience the best of what nature has to offer throughout four blissful days, while witnessing hundreds of world-class artists across six unique stages, each curated and run by their own stage directors.

Shambhala began in 1998 as a grassroots gathering of 500 people on founder Jimmy Bundschuh’s family farm in an evergreen forest beneath breathtaking mountains and has since grown overtime primarily by word-of-mouth thanks to past guests and artists. Shambhala’s home has continued to evolve over the past two decades with a focus on infrastructure that ensures a healthy andsustainable environment.
