After a week of being teased with one artist announced per day, the full lineup for Porter Robinson’s Second Sky Festival presented by Golden Voice is here. With the pre- released tickets selling out yesterday, March 13th, there has been a second show added. Porter Robinson and friends embark on a journey to the Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland, CA on Saturday, June 15 in addition to Sunday, June 16th. Tickets are officially available for purchase tomorrow, March 15th at 10 am pst.
Believe it or not, Porter personally chose the lineup himself. Fully stacked and ready to go, this line is sick! Eight was the lucky number of immensely talented international artists including Madeon (DJ Set), Cashmere Cat, G Jones, Kero Kero Bonito, Chrome Sparks, Anamanaguchi, Wednesday Campanella and Nina Las Vegas.
I approached the lineup with the question in mind: Which of my favorite artists do I think my fans would love, if they don’t already? I chose artists who I’d feel really proud to be playing with. I’m happy there’s a place where a lot of interesting and unclassifiable music can coexist.
-Porter Robinson’s philosophy on the lineup
Let’s just go ahead and say it… We are all hoping for a collab with Madeon, although he is only booked for a DJ Set. Now June is a bit far, however, May is a skip away. Last week it was announced that Robinson will be making his return to OMNIA Las Vegas at Caesars Palace on May 16th for EDC Week. There are still tickets available but, get them while you can!
The lineup dropping was fabulous news, yet that was not all that was brought to our attention. You may need to sit for this… Porter Robinson announced this will be his only performance of his revolutionary “Worlds Live” show in 2019. What?! Umm, ok. I’ll 100% make sure to be there, and you should too! From what we have been teased with so far I can tell this will be a once in a lifetime experience. Don’t forget fellow Freaks, tickets go on sale tomorrow, so set your alarm!
