rusowsky has reached a major new milestone as “BbY WOW,” his collaboration with Karol G and Judeline, climbs to No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts. The Madrid-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter has earned his first Billboard No. 1 with the track, marking another major step in the rapid expansion of his genre-blurring sound.
“BbY WOW” currently sits at No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and Hot Latin Rhythm Songs charts, while also reaching No. 37 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has also made an immediate impact on streaming, reaching No. 1 on the Spotify Global chart and No. 4 on the Spotify US chart following its release.
The breakthrough arrives during an already significant year for rusowsky, whose distinctive fusion of experimental pop, Latin music, electronic production, and intricate musicianship has rapidly expanded his audience beyond Spain. With more than 1.1 billion global streams across his catalog, the young artist has developed a devoted following while increasingly becoming a prominent figure in the evolving Spanish-language music landscape.
Much of that momentum can be traced to his debut album, DAISY. Released last year, the project earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album and has since been certified platinum in Spain. The record drew praise from Pitchfork, The FADER, Variety, and Rolling Stone, the latter describing rusowsky as “a conservatory-trained pianist with an anarchic side.”
His growing profile has also translated into major live opportunities. rusowsky made his Coachella debut with packed tents across both weekends, while his appearance on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk generated more than 4 million views. He later brought an ethereal performance of the DAISY track “(ecco)” to the COLORS stage, further showcasing the softer and more atmospheric side of his musical identity.
Away from the festival circuit, rusowsky has continued to scale up his live operation, selling out his biggest rooms across North America and filling arenas in Mexico and Spain. His international festival résumé has also expanded with appearances at Primavera Sound in both Barcelona and Porto this year.
His collaborative instincts have played an important role in that rise. Last year, rusowsky teamed up with Latin Mafia on “neo roneo,” which has since earned a platinum certification in Mexico. He also joined forces with Bb Trickz for “uwu^^,” a track that Rolling Stone selected among its best Spanish-language songs of 2024.

Now, “BbY WOW” places rusowsky alongside one of Latin music’s biggest stars in Karol G, while bringing his unconventional production and musical sensibilities to an even wider international audience. The track’s chart success represents a significant crossover moment for an artist whose career has been built around refusing to stay confined to a single genre.
That momentum will continue into October, when rusowsky returns to the United States for a run of festival appearances and headline performances. His upcoming schedule includes appearances at Zilker Park in Texas, Form: Arcosanti in Arizona, and Mana Wynwood in Miami, along with headline shows at The Independent in San Francisco, The Novo in Los Angeles, and Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Tickets are available for purchase and full live dates below.
With his first Billboard No. 1 now secured and more than a billion streams already behind him, rusowsky is entering a new phase of his career. What began as a highly individual artistic world built around musicianship and experimentation is increasingly becoming a force within the broader Latin music conversation, with “BbY WOW” offering the clearest indication yet of just how far that sound can travel.
