Rezz returns to Arizona! Prepare to be hypnotized on March 8th, 2019, at Rawhide Western Town & Event Center, because Relentless Beats is bringing our favorite alien back to the desert. And this time, it will be her biggest headlining event in Arizona yet.
After a very, uh, lit Decadence Arizona 2018 (check out recaps for day one here and day two here), the compassionate producer noticed that some attendees were less than satisfied about the packed main stage tent. The craziness prevented several fans from being able to physically enter the tent to watch her set. For the record, we totally blame this on the fact that the Decadence Arizona lineup was absolutely stacked. On day one, the main stage schedule was: GG Magree, Dr. Fresch, San Holo, Skrillex, Rezz, Porter Robinson, and then finished the night with Above & Beyond. With such a ridiculous lineup, getting through the crowd was absolute madness, as everyone clamored to get the best view of these legends. Even Rezz herself tweeted about the “wildness” of that lineup…
Arizona has a sweet spot for Rezz, even if she had not gone above and beyond to return to us so quickly! In fact, Space Mom has been sure to make a stop in Arizona every time she possibly can. From Shady Park on her 2016 Rezzurection tour, to the Monarch on her Something Wrong Here tour, to Goldrush 2017 for Mass Manipulation, and of course, to Tucson and Phoenix at the Rialto and The Van Buren, respectively (in the same day, no less!) for the Certain Kind of Magic tour.
Relentless Beats has also recently introduced Rezz’s support for the night, and we are stoked to see that Drezo and i_o will be performing as well. Drezo is quite loved in Arizona, as he grew up and spent most of his life in Phoenix. We strongly urge you to arrive at the venue early in order to check out their underground, minimalist techno sounds.
Witnessing Rezz “glow up” through the years, and venues, in Arizona has been such a great experience. From Shady Park to headlining her own (sure to be sold out) show at a venue reserved for only huge acts and festivals, Rezz has a special place in our hearts. It is time to grab your water bottles and get hydrated, Freaks, because Rezz is returning for us once again, and this will be the greatest Arizona abduction yet.
