Following the overwhelming response to its inaugural event in August, RENEW is returning to San Diego on November 15. Co-founded by Brad Sweet, co-founder of Same Same But Different Festival, and Liv Johnson, founder of Almost Nakey and organizer of Santacon and Freedom Fest, the event will once again take over Fit Social Club in Mission Beach for a wellness-by-day, music-festival-by-night experience.
Designed to bring wellness and electronic music together, RENEW offers attendees a full day of movement, recovery, and connection before transitioning into an evening of live music. The experience aims to make wellness more approachable while creating an environment where community and dancefloor culture can thrive.
The day begins with classes led by local wellness brands, offering a range of practices designed to help attendees reconnect with themselves and their surroundings. Programming includes a vinyasa flow with Reach Yoga, Pilates with SALTVAULT, breathwork with Breathe Degrees, and meditation with Trilogy Sanctuary.
As the day transitions toward sunset, the experience shifts into a concert headlined by electronic music star Tchami. Known for his influential contributions to electronic music, Tchami also worked on Lady Gaga’s Chromatica album. The evening lineup will also feature Nostalgix and LYRAH, bringing a high-energy soundtrack to the festival’s nighttime programming.
For Brad Sweet, the response to the inaugural event reinforced the idea behind RENEW and its approach to combining wellness with music.
“RENEW started with a simple idea: wellness should feel less intimidating and a lot more fun. Seeing thousands of people move, recover, connect, and then dance together at our first event showed us there is a real appetite for experiences that bring wellness and music into the same space, and we’re excited to build on that energy in this month.”

With its return to Mission Beach, RENEW continues to explore a different kind of festival experience, bringing local wellness communities and electronic music together in one setting. The November 15 event will offer attendees an opportunity to spend the day focused on movement and mindfulness before coming together for a sunset concert in San Diego.
