Chicago darkwave/electronic trio Pixel Grip have announced Percepticide Remixed, a new remix collection reimagining their acclaimed 2025 album, Percepticide: The Death of Reality. Leading the release is a hard-hitting new version of “Noise” by Glasgow producer KAVARI, available now ahead of the full remix package arriving on July 29.
Originally released in 2025, Percepticide: The Death of Reality marked Pixel Grip‘s boldest and most emotionally charged work to date. Self-released by the fiercely independent trio, the album fused EBM, techno, darkwave, synthpop, and industrial pop into a powerful exploration of betrayal, trauma, rage, and personal reconstruction. The record earned praise for its uncompromising intensity while further cementing the band’s reputation as one of the underground’s most electrifying live acts.
With Percepticide Remixed, Pixel Grip invite an impressive lineup of electronic artists to reinterpret the album through their own sonic perspectives. The collection features contributions from KAVARI, Perel, Frazer Ray, Inhalt, Black Asteroid, Auragraph, Curses, Matrixxman, Normal Bias, A Thousand Mad Things, club.drippy, Babymajick, and Pixel Grip themselves.
Opening the campaign, KAVARI’s remix of “Noise“ transforms the original into a darker, more fractured club weapon. Amplifying the track’s industrial edge with heavier rhythms and a relentless late-night energy, the remix offers a fresh perspective while preserving the raw emotional intensity that defined the original.
The full Percepticide Remixed project arrives on July 29, extending the world of one of Pixel Grip’s most celebrated releases through a diverse collection of underground electronic voices.
The band will continue building momentum throughout the year with appearances at Hinterland, Just Like Heaven, and Bumbershoot this summer before joining KoRn for a European arena tour this fall. The run includes stops in Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and additional cities, bringing Pixel Grip’s explosive live show to audiences across Europe.
