Bass music has become increasingly focused on creating experiences that extend beyond the music itself, and few artists embody that idea quite like Of The Trees. The project of producer and visual artist Tyler Coombs has developed a distinctive sound built around deep bass, spacious synths, atmospheric textures, and intricate rhythms. Rather than fitting neatly into a single corner of electronic music, Of The Trees moves between experimental bass, dubstep, hip-hop-inspired production, and more psychedelic sounds.
That musical world expanded further with Moonglade Park, the artist’s 2026 album. The project serves as the foundation for Park Service, a series of curated headline events designed to bring the album’s environment to life through music, production, and visual storytelling. The original run visited Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York City, with each event built around the idea of creating an immersive extension of the world introduced through the album.
Now, Park Service is returning for another run of dates, including a stop in the Phoenix area that should be especially exciting for Arizona’s bass community.
On Saturday, October 17, Of The Trees will take over Mesa Amphitheatre in Mesa, Arizona, bringing the Park Service experience to the Valley. The 18-and-over event is scheduled for 5 p.m., with Hamdi, Esseks B2B DMVU, and Parkbreezy joining the lineup.
The lineup makes the Mesa Amphitheatre stop particularly interesting. Instead of relying on a standard supporting cast throughout the tour, Of The Trees has assembled different artists for each stop, giving the individual events their own identity. The Mesa lineup brings together several different approaches to bass music, creating a full evening that should move between heavy low-end pressure, experimental sounds, and more intricate electronic production.
The venue itself also provides a fitting environment for the concept. Mesa Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue in downtown Mesa, and the weather should be perfect (if not a bit rainy). That open-air setting should complement the nature-inspired atmosphere surrounding Moonglade Park and Park Service, particularly as the sun goes down and the production becomes the visual centerpiece of the night.
The Mesa performance comes after the fall Park Service run begins September 26 at Moody Amphitheater in Austin, where Jade Cicada, Mr. Bill, and Ferrofluid are scheduled to join Of The Trees. The tour then heads to The Armory in Minneapolis on October 3 with EAZYBAKED, Kursa B2B Alicia Kiah, and Curra. Following Mesa, the tour continues with Hulaween at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, on October 23. Later appearances include Tinker Field in Orlando on November 6.
For Arizona bass fans, October 17 offers a chance to experience the Park Service concept in a setting specifically suited to its atmospheric identity. With Of The Trees bringing the sounds of Moonglade Park, a carefully selected supporting lineup, and an immersive production approach to Mesa Amphitheatre, the night promises to be more than a conventional bass show. It is another opportunity to step into the strange, expansive world that Of The Trees has been building through his music.
