by The Freaks - Staff

Celebrating its ten year anniversary in 2019, North Coast Music Festival is getting an upgrade August 30th and 31st. With a scenic new venue at Northerly Island and a compelling lineup, this two-day Chicago festival is treating the city to a whole new vibe. Massive artists like Bassnectar, Flux Pavillion, Major Lazer, and Jauz will be headlining the weekend, but the local talent is where North Coast really delivers. I’ve narrowed it down to five can’t miss local artists who show us why the Chicago music scene is where it’s at. Meet the NCMF hometown heroes!

1. INZO

INZO started playing classical piano at the age of four and has since turned his love of music to producing EDM across an array of genres. His most played track on Spotify, “Overthinker”, has over 3 million plays and counting. Though INZO doesn’t stick to one genre, his Future Bass tracks are where he shines the brightest, bringing about a deeply emotional reaction for the listener.
