Following the announcement of their upcoming headline tour, Lucy Bedroque returns with two new songs, “SPEED DEMON” and “WHITEHORSEMANNEQUIN,” marking their first new music since the release of their 2025 debut mixtape, Unmusique. The two-track release offers an early glimpse into the next chapter of Lucy’s rapidly evolving sound while building anticipation for their heavily teased upcoming mixtape, c.

“SPEED DEMON” arrives alongside a striking new music video directed by Neve Abcari, placing Lucy inside an abandoned home illuminated by candlelight and surrounded by a cast of surreal, demon-like figures. The eerie visual world mirrors the unconventional energy of the track, extending Lucy’s increasingly distinctive approach to music and visual storytelling.

The release arrives at a pivotal moment for Lucy Bedroque, who has spent the past several years developing a genre-fluid catalog that moves freely between experimental pop, rap and electronic influences. Rather than settling into a single sound, Lucy has consistently used each release as an opportunity to explore new textures, ideas and approaches to songwriting.

Their creative output began in 2020, and since then Lucy has built an expansive catalog of singles and EPs before arriving at Unmusique, released through deadAir in 2025. The mixtape established a broader foundation for Lucy’s artistic world, combining unconventional production with personal songwriting and an unpredictable approach to genre.

Now, “SPEED DEMON” and “WHITEHORSEMANNEQUIN” signal the beginning of another phase, arriving as anticipation continues to build around c. At just 20 years old, Lucy has already established themselves as one of the more unpredictable young voices in contemporary music, with a willingness to blur the boundaries between underground scenes and experimental songwriting.

The new music also arrives ahead of Lucy’s biggest headline run yet. The 003 Tour begins September 27 in Dublin, launching a European leg with stops in Glasgow, London, Paris, Berlin, Warsaw and additional cities.

The North American leg begins November 7 in San Francisco, with PINPONPANPON providing support. The tour will continue through Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York City, Atlanta and more.

With their largest headline rooms to date awaiting them on both sides of the Atlantic, Lucy Bedroque is entering a defining stretch of their career. Between the arrival of “SPEED DEMON,” “WHITEHORSEMANNEQUIN,” the surreal visual world accompanying the former and the looming release of c, the next chapter is already taking shape.

For an artist whose work has consistently resisted easy categorization, Lucy’s latest release suggests that c could push that experimentation even further.
