La Discothèque is celebrating a decade of disco-inspired dancefloor culture with two major venue takeovers in Manchester and London this November. Founded by Kat Warburton in Manchester in 2016, the brand will mark its 10th anniversary with its biggest homecoming event to date at The Warehouse Project on November 7, followed by a three-room takeover at Drumsheds on November 13.

Since launching its first event at Albert Hall on November 12, 2016, La Discothèque has built an international following by bringing the glamour of disco’s golden era into contemporary club culture. Inspired by the energy of New York City nightlife, particularly Paradise Garage and Studio 54, the brand has grown from an intimate party into a series of large-scale events known for its vibrant atmosphere, extravagant production, and community-driven approach.

The Manchester anniversary event represents a major milestone for the brand, marking its debut at The Warehouse Project. Taking over all five rooms at Depot Mayfield, the November 7 celebration will bring the party back to the city where it all began. The lineup spans disco, house, and electronic music, featuring Basement Jaxx in a DJ set, Groove Armada in a DJ set, Annie Mac, Dombresky presenting Disco Dom, DJ Paulette, Gerd Janson b2b Krystal Klear, Jayda G, Hunee b2b Luke Una, and CC!, among others.

Music will fill the Depot, Concourse, Archive, Vault, and Star & Garter 54, bringing the brand’s signature energy to every corner of the venue. The event is positioned as a full-circle moment for La Discothèque, reconnecting its decade of growth with the city that first welcomed its parties.

A week later, the anniversary celebrations will continue in London, where La Discothèque returns to Drumsheds on November 13 for a three-room takeover. The lineup includes Purple Disco Machine, Folamour, and Dan Shake, alongside the return of the La Discothèque Orchestra.

The London programme will also feature a room curated by Jayda G, with performances from Ron Trent, Jennifer Loveless, and Tarzsa. Heléna Star, Daisybelle, and additional artists will round out the event, bringing together established names and emerging talent across the venue.

For founder Kat Warburton, choosing Manchester and London for the anniversary celebrations reflects the importance both cities have played in the brand’s development.

“To celebrate this momentous 10-year milestone, we’re hosting two huge anniversary shows, one week apart, with The Warehouse Project representing the North and Drumsheds in London hosting the South.

“Manchester and London have both played an integral role in the La Discothèque journey, so it felt only right to celebrate our tenth birthday with two official parties in these iconic venues, falling between the anniversary of our very first event on 12th November 2016.

“I feel incredibly blessed to have taken La Discothèque to its tenth year. Over the past decade, we’ve built something truly special, driven by an incredible community that has supported us every step of the way. We can’t wait to bring everyone together this November to celebrate ten years of La Discothèque in the way it deserves.”

That community-first ethos has remained central to La Discothèque as its events have expanded across the UK and beyond. The brand has become known for its flamboyant flamingo performers, shimmering disco balls, high-glamour theatrics, and immersive production, creating an atmosphere that celebrates individuality while keeping the dancefloor at the heart of the experience.

Its history includes five sold-out shows at Printworks London, followed by the distinction of hosting the opening party at Drumsheds. The brand later returned to sell out the 15,000-capacity venue, further cementing its place in London’s nightlife landscape.

Across five summers in Ibiza, La Discothèque has staged events at Pikes, 528 Ibiza, Lío, O Beach, and Ibiza Rocks. Its wider festival and cultural appearances have included stage takeovers at Kala, Eastern Electrics, and Elrow, as well as events connected to Manchester Pride. Earlier this year, the brand also held a summer residency at 528 Ibiza.

As La Discothèque enters its second decade, its ambitions extend beyond its established strongholds. With Kat Warburton leading as CEO, the brand is preparing to expand into North America, Europe, and Asia, building on the growth and community it has developed since 2016.

The two November events bring that journey back to its roots while looking toward what comes next. From its first party at Albert Hall to major takeovers at The Warehouse Project and Drumsheds, La Discothèque has spent ten years bringing disco-inspired energy to dancefloors around the world. Its anniversary celebrations offer a chance to recognize that evolution while setting the tone for the next chapter.
