British producer Just Geo steps into a fresh chapter with IN/HARMONY, a shapeshifting new project anchored by the focus single “IN/ESSENCE”, released December 5 via DWNTHRD. The EP finds the South London artist bending UK club traditions into something more personal, more cinematic, and unmistakably his.
Rather than sitting in one lane, Just Geo uses the project to travel through the sounds that have shaped him—UK Garage, Grime, dubby early-2000s rave energy, ambient-leaning electronics, and drum and bass—all filtered through a mindset that feels reflective, restless, and creatively hungry.
The journey begins with “In/Too/Deep,” a slow unfurl of echoes and atmosphere that nods to his early influences before diving into the title track “In/Harmony,” a radiant, rave-driven pulse. “In/Motion” dials things inward, folding two-step rhythms into an airy, emotional landscape, while “In/Charge” snaps back with the grit of old-school dubstep wrapped in a hypnotic low-end.
That emotional undercurrent resurfaces in “In/My/Head,” a swirling reflection on release and vulnerability. The EP’s focus single “In/Essence” shifts into drum and bass territory, showcasing Just Geo’s ease in reimagining genre foundations without ever losing his own fingerprint. The closing track, “In/Sync,” lands in the heart of UK club culture—deep, late-night, and built for losing yourself on the dancefloor.
For Just Geo, the project became less a creative exercise and more a document of a chaotic, fast-moving year.
“This is one of those projects I could’ve worked on forever,” he says. “Life got hectic in the best way, and this became something I made whenever I could steal a moment—studio time, writing at home while my kid slept, traveling through airports or festival tents. Every track became a snapshot of those moments.”
