Into The Wild Festival returns to Chiddinglye Farm in West Sussex this August Bank Holiday, transforming the picturesque countryside into a vibrant celebration of nature, music, creativity, and community. Taking place from August 28–31, 2026, the four-day event offers an immersive experience that blends live performances, educational workshops, wellness activities, and environmental initiatives.
Since its humble beginnings as a grassroots gathering, Into The Wild Festival has evolved into one of the UK’s premier nature-focused festivals while remaining committed to its original mission of helping people reconnect with the natural world, themselves, and each other.
More than just a music festival, Into The Wild features over 200 workshops, talks, and interactive experiences. Attendees can explore traditional crafts, learn the art of foraging, participate in movement and wellbeing sessions, hear inspiring speakers, discover local wildlife, and enjoy evenings filled with music beneath the stars.
Festival founder Huw Williams says the event is designed to offer a welcome escape from the pressures of everyday life.
“Into The Wild is about stepping away from the constant noise of modern life and rediscovering presence, connection and community in a natural setting. It’s about learning, being with nature, and remembering a more grounded way of living.”

Environmental conservation remains central to the festival’s identity. A wide range of organizations, including WWF, the Captain Paul Watson Foundation, the Woodland Trust, South Wealden Badger Group, Ecotalk, Ecotricity, Zaytoun CIC, and the Fox Angels Foundation, will be on-site to share conservation projects, practical sustainability initiatives, and opportunities for visitors to become involved in protecting and restoring ecosystems.
The 2026 edition will feature performances across three stages, showcasing an eclectic lineup of global music, folk, electronic sounds, and live performances. The World Stage welcomes artists including BCUC, Fulu Miziki, Mr Williamz (Ignition High Power), Northern Poet & The Urban Druids, Sika, Subhadra Desai, the Tashi Lhunpo Monks from Tibet, and The Egg.
Meanwhile, the Sun Stage and Electronic Music Stage will present an equally diverse selection of artists spanning acoustic, electronic, and world music, including Azaria Franco, Gabriella Frances, The Butterfly Wheel, Super Claud, Kristian, Heiko, and Miss Lightbeam, alongside late-night DJ sets and immersive performances.
Beyond the festival grounds, Into The Wild continues to support Wilderlands CIC, a community interest company dedicated to habitat restoration, conservation education, rewilding initiatives, and helping communities reconnect with nature through hands-on environmental projects.

Set against ancient woodland and wildflower meadows, Into The Wild Festival has earned its reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive cultural gatherings by combining exceptional music, traditional skills, indigenous knowledge, environmental awareness, and creative expression into a uniquely enriching experience.
Whether visitors are looking to dance under the stars, learn a new craft, hear thought-provoking speakers, or simply unplug and reconnect with nature, Into The Wild Festival 2026 promises four unforgettable days celebrating creativity, wellbeing, and the living world.
