Insomniac Records is wrapping up a monumental 2024 with the release of ‘Best of Insomniac Records 2024’, a compilation featuring 25 standout tracks that defined the label’s groundbreaking year.
Showcasing talent from its world-class roster, the collection highlights unforgettable festival anthems and chart-topping hits. Included are gems like the house-driven “Forever” by HUGEL and Diplo, the indie dance sensation “Never Walk Alone” by BLOND:ISH featuring Steve Appleton, Francis Mercier‘s afro house hit “Sauti”, and the disco-fueled “Joy” from LF System.
The numbers speak volumes:
- BLOND:ISH – Never Walk Alone: Over 17 million Spotify streams, featured as the cover of Spotify’s ‘mint’ playlist, and received massive radio and playlist support, including BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM.
- HUGEL & Diplo – Forever: More than 23 million Spotify streams, a #1 spot on Beatport’s Afro House chart, and global media recognition from Billboard, Mixmag, and more.
- Mau P – On Again: 1.1M+ views on its official music video, featured on Spotify’s ‘mint’, and supported by radio legends like Pete Tong and outlets such as Rolling Stone and DJ Mag Germany.
Beyond the flagship label, Insomniac Music Group had an expansive year, releasing 721 tracks across imprints such as HARD Records, Bassrush Records, and Factory93, with standout releases including Boys Noize – FVKVRVND, Miss Monique – Look at You, and Eli Brown & Lily Palmer – Gasoline.
2024 also marked the launch of Insomniac Publishing and the opening of state-of-the-art Insomniac Studios at the company’s headquarters. The label hosted branded festival stages at iconic events like EDC Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, and Escape Halloween, while presenting showcase events worldwide, including Miami Music Week and ADE.
Insomniac’s dedication to discovering new talent was evident through its Discovery Project, which ran 16 contests judged by major artists like Illenium, Oliver Heldens, and Seven Lions.
