Australian producers HUUE and Arky Waters are joining forces on “CAN’T STOP,” an energetic new single that brings classic electro-house influences into the world of modern bass-driven club music. Blending nostalgic sounds with contemporary EDM intensity, the collaboration delivers a high-energy production built for dancefloors.
Hailing from Newcastle, HUUE teams up with Sydney-based producer Arky Waters to explore the intersection of electro house, techno, and bass house. Drawing inspiration from the genre’s earlier era while embracing a modern EDM edge, “CAN’T STOP” balances infectious hooks with unpredictable production and club-ready momentum. Fans of Ninajirachi, ATRIP, and MPH will find plenty to connect with in its sound.
The collaboration began when HUUE sent Arky Waters an early version of the track, inspired by the classic electro-house sound of artists such as deadmau5. From there, Arky Waters completely reworked the production, injecting fresh energy and helping transform the original idea into its final form. The two producers continued exchanging ideas and refining the track until they landed on its finished sound.
Reflecting on how the collaboration came together, HUUE shared:
“This song was inspired by the older electro house sound of artists like deadmau5 combined with the modern EDM flair of hyperpop. I had been inspired by Arky Waters’ music for ages and really wanted to work on a song with him, so I sent him a song I was super happy with at the time. He completely flipped the beat on its head and added so much energy to it. We went back and forth with the track until we finished with how it sounds like now.”
The single has already received a promising response in a live setting. HUUE recently tested “CAN’T STOP” during his support set for Habstrakt, where the track generated the biggest crowd reaction of the night.
“I tested it out at my recent support gig for Habstrakt and the crowd absolutely loved it, giving it the reaction of the night,” HUUE said.
With “CAN’T STOP,” HUUE and Arky Waters bring together their individual approaches to electronic music, connecting the nostalgic appeal of classic electro house with the unpredictable energy of modern club sounds. The collaboration showcases the creative chemistry between the two Australian producers while delivering a track that has already made its mark on the dancefloor.
