Fast-rising electronic duo HILLS make their long-awaited debut on John Summit’s Experts Only with the release of “Lift Me Up,” a high-energy anthem that blends emotional songwriting with peak-time club intensity. Out now, the single marks another major milestone for the duo as they continue their rapid ascent through the global dance music scene.
“Lift Me Up” immediately draws listeners in with the soaring opening lyric, “lift me up, this music’s gonna save me,” before erupting into a driving bassline that propels the track forward with relentless momentum. Combining euphoric vocals, pounding percussion, electrifying synth work, and infectious grooves, the record captures the transformative feeling of losing yourself in the music while sharing that energy with a packed dancefloor.
Balancing emotional depth with festival-ready production, the track showcases HILLS’ evolving sound, delivering a rush that feels equally at home blasting through massive sound systems or accompanying late-night drives. Its uplifting atmosphere and relentless energy make it one of the duo’s most ambitious releases to date.
Speaking about the release, HILLS reflected on the significance of joining Experts Only:
“We are so excited to be making our debut on Experts Only. We have been sending demos to the label for a very long time and finally landed on one we all agreed worked. John helped us really launch our career when he played our remix of ‘Evil Jordan’ on the Ultra livestream with Dom, so to now have a single on his label is a big full-circle moment.”
The duo also explained how the record pushed them creatively:
“This track is a step into a bit of uncharted territory for us; it is faster and more emotional than anything we have put out before. We wrote the vocals ourselves and knew we had something special right away. It started as a more housey idea, but after going back and forth with the label, we landed on this faster, more emotional style of a track.”

Anticipation for “Lift Me Up” has been steadily building since John Summit premiered the track during his EDC Main Stage performance. Continued support from influential artists including KETTAMA, Dom Dolla, and Devault only heightened demand, with fans eagerly awaiting its official release.
Comprised of two longtime friends, HILLS have quickly emerged as one of electronic music’s most exciting new acts. Their signature sound fuses tech house and melodic techno, combining club-ready grooves with cinematic melodies and emotional songwriting that resonate well beyond the dancefloor.
The duo’s breakthrough came in 2025 when their remix of Playboi Carti’s “Evil Jordan” became the most-played track of the year on 1001Tracklists. They followed that success with “Afterparty,” which climbed to No. 2 overall on Beatport following its release on Fisher’s Catch & Release. Throughout the year, HILLS also sold out headline shows across the United States and Asia, while making their European debut with performances in Ibiza, translating online momentum into an increasingly global fanbase.
Their remarkable debut year concluded with HILLS earning the No. 71 spot in the 1001Tracklists 101 Producer Awards, while all nine of their singles reached the Beatport Top 10 across respected labels including Catch & Release, REALM, Repopulate Mars, Universal, Aeterna, Cr2, and Spinnin’ Deep.
Building on that momentum, HILLS entered 2026 with another career-defining achievement through their collaboration with Anyma on “Dreams,” featured on the deluxe edition of End of Genesys via Interscope Records.
With “Lift Me Up,” HILLS continue to expand their artistic identity while reinforcing their reputation as one of dance music’s fastest-rising talents. Combining emotional vulnerability with explosive club production, the single not only marks an important debut for Experts Only but also signals another major step forward in the duo’s rapidly evolving career.
