Combining incredibly catchy dance beat, masterful vocals from Isak Heim, and captivating visuals, this work of art has been stuck in my head for days. It’s not hard to see why Sony Music took notice, Rat City’s previous release ‘Run For Your Life’ has over 9 million streams on Spotify.
The animation for the ‘Kind of Love’ video comes from Micah Monkey, the visual artist behind Eric Clapton’s ‘White Christmas’ video, who recently joined the group as Creative Director. It’s a stunning spectacle of trippy visuals, which follow a protagonist through a game of cat and mouse, or perhaps pussy and rat, as it were.
