This remix precedes the sibling duo, Hippe Sabotage’s, forthcoming ‘The Beautiful Beyond’ North American tour.
California duo Hippie Sabotage has unveiled their official remix of G-Eazy‘s “Leviathan” featuring vocalist Sam Martin. The release is part of a remix package marking the one-year anniversary of the Oakland rapper’s acclaimed album The Beautiful & Damned.
Hippie Sabotage underpins G-Eazy‘s vocals with a range of moody chord patterns influenced by a slowed tempo alongside a melancholic bass, Bringing a deep ambiance to this piece of work. The grunge-led reimagining showcases the pair’s dynamic artistry following their highly received flip of Billie Eilish and Khalid‘s “Lovely”.
Widely recognized for their eclectic, genre-bending sounds, Hippie Sabotage delivered fans a steady stream of new music in 2018 including the buzzy “FADING INTO FOG” and the guitar-laden “COFFEE”. From chillwave electronic to hip-hop and trap, this latest rework of G-Eazy‘s track further cements their status as one of the most in-demand production duos in the scene.
The remix comes after Hippie Sabotage‘s recent announcement of their forthcoming ‘The Beautiful Beyond’ tour. The pair, composed of brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer, will embark on a massive 30-date schedule across North America with support from Mad Decent signee Sebastian Paul.
