California duo Hippie Sabotage has unveiled their official remix of G-Eazy‘s “Leviathan” featuring vocalist Sam Martin. The release is part of a remix package marking the one-year anniversary of the Oakland rapper’s acclaimed album The Beautiful & Damned

Hippie Sabotage underpins G-Eazy‘s vocals with a range of moody chord patterns influenced by a slowed tempo alongside a melancholic bass, Bringing a deep ambiance to this piece of work.The grunge-led reimagining showcases the pair’s dynamic artistry following their highly received flip of Billie Eilish and Khalid‘s “Lovely”.

Widely recognized for their eclectic, genre-bending sounds, Hippie Sabotage delivered fans a steady stream of new in 2018 including the buzzy “FADING INTO FOG” and the guitar-laden “COFFEE”. From chillwave electronic to and , this latest rework of G-Eazy‘s track further cements their status as one of the most in-demand duos in the scene.

The remix comes after Hippie Sabotage‘s recent announcement of their forthcoming ‘The Beautiful Beyond’ tour. The pair, composed of brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer, will embark on a massive 30-date schedule across North America with support from Mad Decent signee Sebastian Paul. The kicks off on February 2nd, 2019 at The Warfield in San Francisco and will make its way back to the West Coast for a final show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on March 23, 2019.
