FOMO Baku is taking its Formula 1 weekend celebrations outdoors for the first time this September, announcing APEX AFTER DARK OPEN AIR, a three-night electronic music series featuring ANOTR, Jamie Jones, and Mahmut Orhan from September 24–26 during Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend.
For the special Grand Prix weekend, a 2,500-capacity open-air venue directly on Baku Boulevard and the Caspian Sea will provide the setting for three nights of electronic music in the heart of Baku. The waterfront location will combine FOMO Baku’s high-impact production with panoramic views across the Caspian Sea, creating a new experience for one of the city’s biggest weekends of the year.
Running across practice, qualifying, and race day, APEX AFTER DARK will bring three major names in electronic music to Baku for three distinct nights, creating a new destination for the thousands of international visitors expected to descend on the city for Formula 1 weekend.
The series begins on Thursday, September 24, with ANOTR taking over the waterfront for a sunset session showcasing the Amsterdam duo’s genre-fluid sound. Known for moving between rolling house, disco, funk, soul, and deeper late-night selections, ANOTR will soundtrack the transition from daylight into the evening as the sun sets over the Caspian Sea.
On Friday, September 25, Jamie Jones takes over the open-air venue ahead of race day. The Hot Creations founder and Hot Natured member has played a defining role in shaping the sound and culture of Circoloco at DC-10 over the past two decades. Arriving in Baku during the Ibiza season, Jones will bring the energy of his renowned Paradise parties to the waterfront, with rolling grooves, deep house, and peak-time selections designed for a packed outdoor dancefloor.
The weekend concludes on Saturday, September 26, with Mahmut Orhan taking the stage on race day itself, just hours after the chequered flag. Following his appearance as the headliner for the final night of FOMO Baku’s 2025 Grand Prix weekend, Orhan returns to the city for an even larger open-air performance.
The Turkish producer will bring his signature blend of electronic music, melodic house, and globally influenced sounds to the waterfront, providing the final soundtrack to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend.

APEX AFTER DARK OPEN AIR represents a new chapter for FOMO Baku, taking the brand beyond the walls of its club for the first time and placing its production against the backdrop of Baku Boulevard and the Caspian Sea.
With ANOTR, Jamie Jones, and Mahmut Orhan each bringing a distinct sound to three consecutive nights, the series is set to add a major new electronic music destination to Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend.
