If you know anything about Ferry Corsten, then you’ve likely noticed something interesting with the lineup for his What The F tour. Gouryella and System F are both aliases for a couple of his side projects, which means you will have a full night featuring only him. A Trance legend who has been active for over 20 years and placed in DJ Mag’s “Top 100 DJs” in a quarter of those years, he is ready to bring you feelings you didn’t know were possible.
Having never performed in this manner, it is clear that Corsten is ready for a potentially once in a lifetime event. Writing on his Twitter page, “For a long time I’ve had a vision of bringing all these projects to the stage for one massive show of my own music open to close. This will be a night to remember! This will be WHAT THE F.”
If you are looking to see what this Trance God is all about, you need to check out “We’re Not Going Home“. This high tempo collab with Ilan Bluestone is the perfect amount of speed mixed with softer melodies, exchanging places like an ongoing tennis match. If that’s not enough for you, then “Freefall” is your next stop. With vocals from Nevve, this upbeat and ghostly track will give you goosebumps all over.
Phase one has been announced, which can only lead me to believe there will be a phase two in the latter part of this year. That’s only my own speculation and it may not be a chance you want to take, so figure out what stop you are flying to this year and get your tickets now!
