Fresh Music | DISKORD Drops Paprika Flavored Fire ‘Let Me Go’ on Circus Records
Diskord drops fire new hit, 'Let Me Go'. Drawing inspiration from the film Paprika, the duo from Bristol have created a dreamy masterpiece!
Anime fans and certified beat masters DISKORD are back with the beautiful banger ‘Let Me Go’, released on Circus Records. Fans of their previous hit ‘Want U’ will love the track’s mesmerizing harmonies, punctuated by brutal bass drops. The group sites anime sensation Paprika as their inspiration for the song’s soundscape and you can hear it throughout. The dreamy, ethereal feeling of the song would be right at home in film’s score.
It’s not hard to see why the boys from Bristol have garnered praise from Zeds Dead, 12th Planet and Knife Party just to name a few. Their blend of vocals and bass has been one of my favorites since bangers ‘Release Me’ in 2014 and the ‘Ur Luv’ EP in 2016. I was even lucky enough to give myself whiplash headbanging (true story!) when DISKORD joined label mates Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, Cookie Monsta and Funtcase for Bassrush Massive in 2016.
Listening to ‘Let Me Go’ stokes our excitement for their highly anticipated debut album. While the duo have remained tight-lipped about the release, this single has our minds racing about what the duo will come up with next.
