Dirtybird kicks off its Flight Week Brazil writing camp series with a standout first release from BadComppany. Titled ‘No Rules’, the two-track EP—created during sessions in Belo Horizonte—features Breno Miranda and captures the spontaneous, collaborative energy at the heart of the Flight Week concept.
Built from the raw creativity of the writing camp environment, ‘No Rules’ embraces immediacy and experimentation. ‘WTF’ lands with a punchy vocal hook from Breno Miranda layered over a driving low-end, while ‘Loco’ leans into rhythmic exploration, showcasing the percussive, playful spirit that emerged from the camp’s freeform sessions. Together, the tracks reflect a bold and unpredictable creative process shaped by global collaboration.
Following the success of its inaugural edition in San Francisco, Flight Week Brazil continues Dirtybird’s mission to merge creativity, community, and cross-cultural exchange. The week-long camp, paired with a multi-date tour, brought together local talent and rising artists to create, perform, and connect—spotlighting Brazilian artistry on a global stage while influencing the evolving sound of the label.
BadComppany, comprised of hip-hop veteran DJ Zeu and producer Raphael Cordoso, have quickly built momentum since launching the project in 2024. Their debut single ‘Too Mush Baby’ arrived via Colapso, founded by Cour T., introducing their distinctive fusion of classic hip-hop elements and contemporary electronic production.
After gaining early attention, the duo made their Dirtybird debut with the ‘LINK’ EP last fall before joining the label’s writing camp initiative. With ‘No Rules’, they take another step forward—delivering a release that embodies both their creative identity and the collaborative ethos driving Flight Week Brazil.
Now available across all platforms, ‘No Rules’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for Dirtybird’s global writing camp series, setting the tone for more boundary-pushing releases to come.
