Two of Northern California’s most beloved independent festivals, Dirtybird Campout and Northern Nights Music Festival, have unveiled the Phase One lineup for their highly anticipated 2026 collaboration. Set for July 17–19 at Cook’s Valley Campground, the event once again transforms the towering Redwoods and the Eel River into a fully immersive playground for music, art, and community.
Following a sold-out 2025 debut, the partnership between Dirtybird Campout and Northern Nights Music Festival continues to evolve with a clear emphasis on independence, curation, and connection. Featuring more than 40 artists in its first wave, the 2026 lineup reflects a shared commitment to spotlighting rising talent alongside established names—favoring discovery and forward-thinking programming over mainstream repetition.
Leading the announcement is internationally acclaimed French artist CloZee, returning as a fan-favorite Northern Nights alum. She’ll also headline a special Road to Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights show at the Napa Valley Ruins on May 30, joined by fast-rising bass standout Tape B. They’re joined by Justin Martin, a defining force behind the Dirtybird sound, and LP Giobbi, founder of FEMME HOUSE and a leading voice in piano-driven electronic performance.
The lineup continues to reflect the festival’s genre-fluid identity. From the commanding presence of Flowdan to the experimental textures of Dimond Saints, the euphoric soundscapes of Daniel Allan, and the global house rhythms of Brazil’s Bruno Furlan and DJ Glen, the curation spans a wide sonic spectrum. House pioneer Todd Edwards further anchors the lineup with his timeless grooves.
Live and hybrid performances expand the experience, featuring GoldFish, High Step Society, Kaleena Zanders, Shaded (Live), and Life on Planets, blending instrumentation, vocals, and electronic production into dynamic performances.
Core Dirtybird energy remains front and center, with label favorites like Sacha Robotti, fresh off his debut album I, ROBOTTI, alongside Will Clarke, Gene Farris, Mz Worthy, and UK bass innovators Ivy Lab, who bring their farewell tour to the Redwoods. Returning acts including Christian Martin, Born Dirty, and J.Phlip further solidify the lineup’s depth.

True to its ethos, the festival continues to champion emerging talent shaping the future of dance music. Rising names like Sam Binga, Nitepunk, Mindchatter (DJ Set), and DJ Susan reflect this forward-looking vision, alongside acts such as Port London, Know Good, and ero808.
Set in the heart of California’s Emerald Triangle, Cook’s Valley Campground offers a one-of-a-kind setting, just 190 miles north of San Francisco. The festival spans multiple stages—including the Main Stage, River Stage, Bird Bath Stage, Grove Stage, and the late-night Bunker—each delivering its own immersive sonic environment, from riverside grooves to sunrise sessions beneath the trees.
Beyond the music, Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights leans fully into its participatory spirit. Attendees can expect camp games, artist-led activities, and spontaneous back-to-back sets that blur the line between performer and crowd. The expanded Co-Creators program invites fans to actively contribute as collaborators and volunteers, reinforcing the festival’s community-first philosophy.
With over two decades of cultural impact, Dirtybird has cultivated a fiercely loyal global following through its irreverent approach to dance music, while Northern Nights Music Festival has spent more than a decade redefining the West Coast festival experience through its fusion of music, nature, and creativity. Together, they represent a powerful model for independent festivals rooted in authenticity and collaboration.
New for 2026, the festival introduces expanded Thursday early entry for all ticket holders and offers U.S. attendees the option to receive wristbands by mail if purchased before June 25, streamlining arrival. This year’s partners include Cake, Papa’s Herb, and Neau Tropics, with additional activations to be revealed on-site. The weekend will also feature a live screening of the FIFA World Cup 2026, alongside exclusive, limited-edition festival jerseys.

With demand already surging and camping options quickly selling out, tickets for Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights 2026 are on sale now, with additional lineup announcements and programming details set to follow in the coming weeks.
