Copa del Rave is bringing the worlds of electronic music and international soccer together this summer with an ambitious residency takeover across two of Los Angeles’ premier nightlife venues, Academy LA and Exchange LA. Designed as a global watch party series celebrating the world’s biggest soccer tournament, the Copa del Rave Residency promises an immersive fusion of club culture, international fandom, and world-class musical programming.
Each matchday experience will reimagine traditional soccer watch parties through the lens of global dance music culture. Fans can expect curated DJ sets inspired by the nations competing on-screen, alongside promoters and collectives deeply connected to the scenes and communities they represent. The result is a multicultural nightlife experience that extends beyond the matches themselves, transforming each event into a celebration of music, identity, and community.
The residency’s lineup reflects that international spirit with an eclectic roster of artists and party curators rallying behind their home nations. Claude VonStroke and DJ Minx will represent Team USA, while collectives including Reggaeton Rave, Gasolina, DoKnow El DJ, and Bolo’s Vibraza Records bring the energy and sounds of Mexico to the dancefloor. Elsewhere, Blaq Pages, Foreigner, and Afrobeats To The World will spotlight the rich musical traditions of the African diaspora through rhythm-heavy, globally influenced programming.
Beyond the music, the residency aims to immerse attendees in the broader culture surrounding the global game. Specialty drinks sourced from around the world will be available throughout the series, while rotating food truck partnerships will highlight some of Los Angeles’ most celebrated culinary offerings, tailored to the countries competing each day.
Originally launched in 2019, Copa del Rave began as a charity soccer tournament for the music industry in Los Angeles. Since then, the organization has raised more than $75,000 for charitable causes while attracting participation from major figures across electronic music and entertainment. Previous editions have included appearances from artists such as Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Chris Lorenzo, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Kah-Lo, and Karaba, helping establish the project as a unique crossover between nightlife culture and the global soccer community.

This year’s residency will support Common Goal, an organization focused on expanding access to soccer opportunities for children worldwide and a driving force behind the World Football Giving Day initiative.
With its blend of international music culture, community-driven nightlife, and the energy of global soccer fandom, the Copa del Rave Residency looks set to turn Los Angeles into one of the summer’s most vibrant intersections of sport and dance music culture.
